Review: Is loud, but pushes a lot of air. - This fan can really push some air. I mainly used it for some ESP32 projects and to show how PWM works, and this fan worked perfectly for it. If you're looking for something quiet, this is not that fan. In addition to pushing out a lot of air, it is loud. As to the speed control, if you set up a PWM signal to it, then you're good to adjust to your hearts desire. 12 VDC power supply is easy to deal with, and comes with the hardware kit to put the grates over it so you don't hit your fingers on it or other things. Overall, I am very pleased with the fan for the price is cost.
Review: Great upgade! - I have a Dell 7060 MT I7-8700 (mid-tower) desktop I recently purchased and upgraded. One of those upgrades was to replace the original case fan with this fan. So a couple of things to consider. The original fan was 12V / .36A and rated at 40 CFM, and was whisper quiet. This fan is 12v / .45A and rated at 65CFM and is not whisper quiet, but is not in my subjective opinion very loud. In fact I like being able to hear it because I know it's working and have no false sense of security. I should add that I have been in IT for many years and am therefore innately suspicious of electronics in general. But I digress. So here's my end game - this fan generates way more air flow that the original. It spins at a much faster RPM and has almost 3 times the number of blades. Hence its relative noise to the original. I could barely feel the air from the old fan with my hand, but this fan's air flow is way more than the difference in the specs would indicate. My internal 512GB SSD (Win 10 Pro drive) dropped 5 degrees F and my 3T HHD (data drive) dropped 7. Well worth a little additional background noise because heat is a common killer of any type of drive. In addition to having the same DCV rating of 12 it's also important to use a replacement fan that has the same or lower current rating. A little higher difference is ok in *most* cases, again depending on a number of system variables. So to be absolutely safe use a fan with the same DCV and an amp (A) rating the same or less. In my case new fan's .45A was close enough to the old of .36A to not matter. Installation was easy as far as the new fan goes. Getting out the old fan was a pain in my case (no pun intended). However, I did have to trim off a piece of the new fan's 4-pin connector on its backside in order for it to fit into the socket on the motherboard. You may, or, may not, have to do that. Good luck!

A: the minimum rpm that can be set via pwm is： 700RPM  , this fan have big air flow at full speed (72.6CFM / 5500RPM ), you can adjustable fan speed to achieve desired noise level .

**Q: I'm trying to figure out what power supply to buy for this. What's the max amps I can use for a power supply?**
A: The unit at full speed pulls about .7 amps. My motherboard is capable of 1 amp on each fan header but I did have to get an ATX splitter with a sensor cable that goes to my MB as I ran out of fan headers to use and didn't want to use a basic splitter because each fan wouldn't receive the entire amperage they need. Not that I run them at 100% usually they are running between 30-60% but just in case I need them to operate at full speed they will. I just want the ability to if needed but if you had to use a basic splitter cord on a 1 amp header they would still run at about 70%. The motherboard still gets sensor data from one of the fans though so at least I don't have a dead sensor and I always run the two fans together at the same speed anyways. They run at 12 volts so if you're not plugging them into a motherboard I would find an adapter that would do 12 volts at 1 amp so you know that you're covered well. You can use an adapter that puts out more than 1 amp it will only use what it needs. If connecting directly to a power only you just need the red and black wires connected. You might be able to find an 80mm fan with an AC adapter I see some of them on here with them. The other two wires are used for computer fan header use and can be discarded if you aren't using them with a motherboard. These fans are extremely loud at full speed so you might want to end up using a 9 volt or 5 volt adapter anyways so they aren't at full speed. They put out a ton of air probably the strongest 80mm fans available but they also get quite loud. I have 4 in my computer case and if I tell my motherboard to run them at full speed it sounds like my computer is about to take off and fly. That was the point of me getting these fans was to make sure if my computer needed it that it could turn up the airflow as much as it wants. I'm actually using a very large ATX case but it's old school and can only take this size fan so I have two in the front and two in the back. I use the motherboard to control the speed and usually keep them at about 30% in normal use. If I'm heavily using my computer they might go up to 50-60%.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not the quietest fan

Noise at full tilt is a bit droney. At lower speeds it's not as bad as the fan I replaced. I did not use this in a computer application. I used this as a fan for a electronics device that needed a good amount of air flow. I tried in of those quiet fans and altho it was quiet it did not move enough air. So I took this fan and put a 50 ohm resistor in series to slow it down a bit. Noise was acceptable and still moved enough air. So it's not a bad fan. I just had a difficult criteria to meet using this fan but found an acceptable solution.
