Excellent tool. Well built and hardened
After buying a cheap set of transfer punches, I decided to just layout marks and aim for the best. This tool saved the day for me. A couple hundred blows into mild steel plate and the tip is still pointed and sets my drill bit nicely. VERY NICE.

Worked
Tried yesterday. Did what it was supposed to do. Well made.

Excellent Quality
This is exactly what I needed in every way. I'm using it to punch holes in trash cans. I do that to allow air to escape that's trapped between the new trash bag and the interior of the trash can. I ruined an ice pick doing this, so I opted for something more heavy duty this time.

Seem like quality steel
I just got these, three of them because I have them in different tool kits in different places. I have not used them yet, so maybe premature to review. THey do seem like a good quality steel alloy for the purpose BUT as others have mentioned, the final grind or hone of the point is lacking. Of the three I got, only one actually has a straight grind face with an actual point. The other two have a bit of a round to the grind face and the tip is not what I would expect to get a good sharp indent. I will have to take them to the grinder and see what I can get out of them without excess heat and loss of temper. For the price, I think they are good. If these fail me like the other inexpensive ones I have used, it will just be time to pony up and get the Tekton or the Starrett ones and these will get relegated to masonry work or something other than more precise metal work. They are definitely nice chunky things and there is plenty of material to work with.

Heavy duty punch
I have used this a few times to stake castle nuts after getting a spot started with an automatic centering punch. The combination of an automatic punch to start the job and this big boy to finish it makes quick and easy work for staking nuts and moving steel material around. This is a pretty beefy punch so I would not trust myself trying to use it by itself to stake nuts. Maybe someone with more sure and steady hands than me could, but having the starting spot created by an auto punch makes this tool shine. Excellent value for a tool that will probably outlive me.

Good for CV Axle Removal
Durably built and did the job. Used it to hammer a CV axle out of the wheel bearing on a 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander for a wheel bearing change.
