I'm a natural Redhead. My skin is dry and the color is uneven, as many people with Red hair understand. Also, I live in the Desert Mountains where there is very little humidity. The uneven skin tone is from the lack of enough Melanin in our skin, which is the same reason we burn from the Sun so easily. This make-up is the PERFECT color. It took a long time, and the purchase of a lot of brands & colors of foundation to find this. Of course I use good moisturizer and Sun Screen before I apply. As I said, the perfect color for my skin, and it lasts all day. Even when I work in my Garden it stays on unless I stop the perspiration from dripping into my eyes. The only downside is that it stains washcloths and towels if I miss a little washing my face. I bought washcloths and face towels that have no white in them now, so it doesn't show if I forget and rub my fingers on them. I keep an old washcloth in my make-up bag for when I apply make-up so that I don't stain my phone case and purse with my fingertips. I'm older, so I have some wrinkles. Using a layer of my high quality Sun-Screen over the first application on my lower face stops it from gathering in them, as I'm sure other women have experienced. I then apply another light coat, on my lips also, before I apply my lipstik. I recommend this to anyone. They have a huge selection of shades.

I love this foundation and I use it regularly. But I ordered 2 bottles and on both bottles the plastic seal to the lid was already unsealed. On one of the bottles there is a scrape of product removed from the wall of the glass on the inside. Its like a makeup brush was inserted and a chunk was scooped off the wall? From a different seller a similar situation occurred with face cream, with half the product missing from the jar.Note the face cream is from a different seller. And last year, from yet an even different seller, the same occurred with a face toner. Are sellers removing some of the product to double their money???? Or are they reselling half used returned items????? That's even more horrifying because anyone can put anything in the bottle! I don't know but it's scary to think someone may have tampered with a facial product! I have skin allergies and I use the products that I use because they have proven to be safe on my skin. If something that is not supposed to be in the bottle is in there, it could cause me a world of problems! And not just me, other people! Aside from that, this foundation by this manufacturer is lovely. I've been using their foundations since I was old enough to wear foundation and have always loved the look, the feel, the coverage and lack of skin irritation.

I am completely and totally impressed with this foundation. I buy so many foundations, most of them high end, but I seem to want to try every one that Maybelline comes out with, because I think they have some good ones. (Yes, they have some duds, too.) This is better than most of the high end foundations in my collection. My favorite application method is actually my fingers. Usually two pumps does it. After I blend it out with my fingers, I take my It Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Complexion Brush #7 and blend out the edges, then use the same brush and also lightly go over my face to be sure everything is blended well. My skin looks flawless. I would say this is a good medium coverage. I think you can build it up to a higher coverage, or you could use a concealer where you want more. For me, it's enough except for using a bit under my eyes. The finish is a natural one-not matte, not dewy. Very fresh looking. It holds up well throughout the day, and it looks great all through the day. (I do use a primer, but I use a primer under every foundation.) It may not be the right foundation if you are very oily. I'm more of a combination to dry skin. I don't detect any noticeable fragrance. I find myself reaching for this more than any other foundation. I will definitely repurchase it, and I would recommend trying it.

La base es bastante luminosa, la recomiendo para pieles secas, aunque yo soy piel grasa y me encantó el acabado luminoso que tiene sellado con polvo, depende de los gustos de cada quien y del cuidado de la piel y acabado que desees.
