Garden Bird Netting- 3/4" Mesh - 14x100ft

We had a Canada goose infestation on the Rock River in Beloit WI. Our property is on the river and our newly laid sod was prime food for the geese. We were very tire of cashing them with woops and firecrackers. I got the suggestion for putting the netting over the rip rap and it worked! They swim close but do not come on the property. If you are trying to goose proof, I recommend this netting.

Pros: it works discourages most birds and finally stopped the starlings from roosting on my porch! No more bird poop on my front door! Actually captured 2 of the 4 most persistent starlings and was able to dispatch them humanely. The other 2 left and haven't been seen since!Con: It clings to every point of contact because it is literally netting it catches corners of the brick facade like mad. The persistent birds did find ways around it but ended up getting stuck inside afterward. So pro and con there.I'd recommend this for anyone with persistent birds. Just be aware that some of them i.e. starlings will find any gap and work through it anyway even if it means they get stuck.

Birds were eating our blueberries before we could get any for ourselves. These nets worked perfectly to keep the birds off. Easy to place and made of quality material.

I mistakenly bought this net thinking it was a thicker type based on the description, shipping weight and image. Apparently the product image on Amazon is only meant to demonstrate a possible use of bird netting, and is NOT an actual image of this net in use, as I supposed it was. This is a very light weight polypropylene bird net, which is not necessarily a bad thing if that is what you are looking for. The net can easily be ripped by tugging it with your fingers, so care is needed in handling and application. It cannot be drug across ground with stiff/dry weeds since they will snag on it and break strands. I was, promptly given an authorization to return the product, thank you for that. I have submitted a "customer image" of the net I received in Amazon, and the difference between the weight of the net pictured on the product page and the one received is apparent. This "Ultra Bird Netting" seems to be the same as the "standard" bird net sold by other retailers for far less.

Netting is fine, barn swallows are very persistent birds. Got to hang the netting just right or birds find a way to build through the netting.

Works okay for keeping away birds and does not bother ducks or chickens.

It's a full 14 feet wide so it's the perfect width to drape over grape vines. It reaches the ground on both sides (to prevent birds from flying underneath & stealing the grapes). I've bought this brand before & it lasted quite a few years. This is a repeat purchase & it looks like the same high quality as the last time I bought it. Made in USA!

Catches on everything.. very hard to install/use. A tighter mesh would be better for most uses. It’s incredibly tough material is the only plus… So hard to place around remove from plants Definitely don’t recommend.
