I just have to leave it plugged in all the time which defeated the purpose and as I understand it Auvio doesn't produce these anymore and I know of now way to get a battery for it. I found a 3" auvio that working about two hours, excellent picutre and I use rechargable battery. this one doesn't plug in directly. Because it used and batteries had been left in it I had to clean the contact points which had gunk on them but was able to do so. **Q: Where can you get an external antenna** A: I found a magnetic one here on amazon that mounts on the top of a car **Q: Where you can purchase a battery for this tv** A: Wish I could help...same thing happened to me and no one was able to tell me where I could get another battery.
