Well made. Order BIG. Perfect for backpack. Windbreaker leg jackets! *by M***H on November 12, 2018* These down pants feel instantly warm and very light and comfortable. Easy to wear. When I tried them on, I just wanted to keep enjoying wearing them for the rest of the day. I put on my down puff jacket and it felt like I was wearing matching puff pants. An entire outer suit of soft, silky warmth. They came packed in a heat-sealed compression bag and were about as flat as several sheets of paper. But still, they were instantly warm and fluffy. There was no odor to the bag or the pants. I hope that they really are nylon. My puff jacket isn't. and they seem the same, so it probably doesn't really matter. I think of nylon as stronger. The price seems to be that of nylon. The workmanship seems excellent. All seams seem good. The elastic waist cord has a nice little silvery metal position lock, like on the hoods of the jackets. The 2 side zippers are the fancy hidden zips with the cute little zip pull. My large size cell phone fits down into the side pockets easily, with a bit of extra room. The large cell almost fits into the back pocket, except that the flap doesn't reach over to the top of it to snap. That pocket appears to be made for a something like a wallet. It is built strong, double stitched with a hardy snap, big and shiny. The stitching around the knees seems to be holding extra down there to keep the knee joints warm, especially when bent. The pattern for holding the down is in squares instead of anything stylish like puff jackets. Ok by me. But when they make stylish ones, I will want some. SIZING: GO BIG!!! I had to return the first ones I received. I normally wear size small in pants. I checked the size chart and measured my waist and hips and ordered what I thought would fit. They came quickly but were way to small. Then I ordered the "16" ... I was thinking the regular 16, but they sent me the "16 W" which was also referred to as a size "Extra" and as a "XXL." I'm glad they did, because these fit perfectly. If I still had the pre-diet hips, I would have had to order the 18 or maybe even the largest size offered here on Amazon, the "20." It's worth the effort to get the size right. The item comes very quickly. It was probably shrink-wrapped in Asia, to protect it from moisture and odors of overseas shipping, but shipped out "locally" by Amazon Prime. These puff pants are going into my backpack the next time I fly somewhere! They will probably be well used by then, for chilly times and places. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love Them! I'm 5'7'' hundred and twenty something pounds. I ordered a Medium because I did want them to be snug. They're pretty snug. Though, a Large I don't think I'd have LOVED. That being said: These pants are great. Super warm and cozy and a reasonably priced alternative to more expensive options available and I got the gold which are almost the same color as my carrharts so often people didn’t even notice I was wearing sleeping bag pants.
