I have been using HID'S since they were $600....the days where people were getting there headlights stolen from there cars, so I've been around the block a few times. Before this purchase I have been using kensun 55watt hid's and have been very please but reliability has always been an issue. This is my first led headlight purchase because even though they look cool I wasn't willing to sacrifice the distance they could illuminate which is the current problem with using leds for headlight applications. As with all new technology it is better to wait a few generations for the bugs to be worked out. That being said, the time is now, at least with this set. I currently am using the h11 55 watt system. I took a 900 mile road trip with alot of nigh driving and I am very pleased to report that the light that you can see from the drivers seat to the roadway is just over 1000 feet. The light throw to retroreflective items is just under a mile! I am able to measure this based on the mile marker posts on the NJ turnpike in the southern portion of the state, while driving on a straight stretch. The bulbs are adjustable withing your housing by loosening two set screws. They also claim to have a minor adjustment in and out but I could not figure out how to do that. Two things about ajustment:For my application in a 2014 Impreza this was crucial as the bulbs do not lock in vertically strait. ...almost a 45 degree angle which will wreak havoc on the output. With the ajustment I have the LEDs facing up and down. Secondly, DO NOT USE SUPPLIED ALLEN KEY. The tolerance is way too wide and you will strip the Allen screws which would suck that such a great item would be rendered useless from a 2 cent piece. These bulbs are bigger than stock so make sure you have clearance for them rearward. I just ordered another set for my highbeam and will post measurements when I get them. I will also be adjusting my headlight aim to compensate for the ridiculous (pronounced, awesome) light output from these. As a side note, these are the exact same lights from another seller for a much higher price. I bought these when there was only one review and purposely held off writing my review till I ordered the second set because I figured the as soon as the positive reviews started coming in the price would creep up, and I was right. Jump on these while there still cheaper! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They are a little more blue than I'd like but that's my personal preference *by J***Y on April 27, 2016* Vehicle: 2016 Toyota Tacoma, with projector beam headlamps. I've tried the OPT7, AKOLI and JDM A-Star kits. These are the brightest of them all in my opinion. No dark spots, no stray light just pure bright light. They are a little more blue than I'd like but that's my personal preference. The ballast/drivers get very hot, so be careful if they have been running for a while. The install was basic. The fans are the quietest of the OPT7 and AKOLI, the JDM A-Star Kits doesnt have fans. I like them a lot, give them a try I think you will be surprised. ### ⭐ and like I said *by R***A on November 13, 2017* One/bulb ballast went out last week... Sent message to manufacturer, however, have not heard back from them. It’s been exactly one week and no response. Product is under warranty, but does not help me if manufacturer does not respond. I received an email/copy of confirmation from amazon that my email was sent to LedOnly, and like I said, it had been one week (sent last Monday) and on the email it said to please allow seller two business days to respond... It has been 5 business days and nothing. At this point, I see a seller who does not stand behind their products and services, and as far as I am concerned is false advertisement. I will give the seller additional time to response, but until then they deserve 1 star (zero if it was an option).
