Great quality and dog loves it and has more energy
Open Farm Ancient Grains Dry Dog Food has been a great choice for my dog. I really appreciate the high-quality, transparent ingredients and the combination of real protein with wholesome ancient grains. My dog loves the taste, has good energy, and digestion has been smooth. I also like that it’s made without artificial flavors or fillers. It is more expensive than basic kibble, but the quality and peace of mind make it worth it.

Lucius loves it
My beagle-boxer beloved Lucius is entirely pleased with this dry food. It contains white fish as well as beef and ancient grains, so Lucius finds the smell enticing and I find it wholesome with a natural freshness. We are fans of the 100% traceable ingredients, and I am impressed with the small size of the kibble which makes it appropriate for all dogs; I am also hosting my niece’s chihuahua and she loves it too. Great product, great quality, so glad I found it.

All around great results with this food in my dogs
Really good food. I’ve owned dogs for 30 plus years and out of all the foods I’ve tried I’ve seen the best physical results in my dogs from this food. Zero bloat they are nice amd lean. Best coat and complexion . Nice amd shiny and no fur staining. Eyes are nice and clear and energy levels up attitude is healthy. And they gobble it up greedily. Well worth the cost.

High Quality Ingedients
This is excellent dog food made with high quality ingredients. Do I recommend it YES, I do. Unfortunately, this is the first dog I have ever owned that is a very fussy eater. He initially ate a complete portion of the chicken version daily for perhaps 2 weeks. Then his interest waned, then he ate it intermittently, then he ate a handful as a "snack". It's hard to find a dry dog food he will eat more than 3-6 days a week! His first meal of the day is homemade chicken, rice and veggie patties (don't ask). His second meal of the day is always dry dog food. He's tried, and eliminated, the beef version of this dog food, Hills (3 varieties), Blue Buffalo, Purina (2 varieties), Taste of the Wild (2 varieties). You get the picture. He's now very enthusiastic about Badlands Ranch air-dried chicken dog food. Time will tell....

Open Farm dog food is loved by our dog
My little Malshi LOVES this food. It's the only thing she can eat without getting an upset stomach. I'm on my 9th bag of it. The size is perfect for little dogs, and the quality of each bag has been great.

Good quality ingredients
Excellent kibble, dogs love it! I think she is allergic to chicken and this has helped with the scratching (she's on flea medicine so I know she's not scratching because of fleas). A little pricey but worth it.

Allergies finally under control
My beagle is 33 months old (almost 3 years old) and has been struggling with allergies since I got him at 8 weeks old. I had tried everything, and finally had my vet send his blood out for an allergy test. We were shocked by how many food allergies he had, and only 4 kinds didn't have any of his allergies - the Salmon and Whitefish are 2 of them. Most places will say fish, but then add other protein by-products, making the name misleading and Open Farms does not do that. Their ingredient list is easy to read. For the first time in the time since he came to me, his mouth isn't bright red. He still has a couple environmental allergies, but my goodness I am so grateful to Open Farms for finally allowing me to feel like a good dog dad. I understand the price is a bit much when people first see it, but for me it has been worth it seeing my dog not scratch and cry constantly. My dog loves the food. It does smell like fish, but it does not make my dog smell like fish. My dog does try to fool me by using his buttons to ask for more food, pretending I forgot to feed him where he likes it that much! I highly recommend it, even if your dog does not suffer from allergies.

After my vet suggested adding grains to my Boston Terrier’s diet, I tried Open Farm Harvest Chicken & Ancient Grains, and it was a hit! He immediately took to the taste and seems to prefer it over his previous grain-free food (Blue Buffalo Wilderness). This switch was seamless—no digestive issues, just a happy, energetic dog. Premium Quality Worth the Price Although Open Farm is a bit pricier, I feel the high-quality ingredients and humane sourcing justify the cost. The formula is free from artificial flavors and preservatives, which aligns with my commitment to feeding him natural, nutritious food. The 11 lb bag lasts my 25 lb dog about a month, so it fits well within our routine. Pros and Cons Pros: Loved by a picky eater, easy transition High-quality, responsibly sourced ingredients Free from artificial flavors and preservatives Cons: Slightly more expensive than similar brands Final Verdict If you’re looking for a natural, grain-inclusive dog food with quality ingredients, Open Farm is a fantastic choice. It’s a bit of a splurge, but worth it for a happy, healthy pup!

Good healthy kibble. My dogs really like it

We switched our dog to this food after he lost all his teeth. This kibble is super tiny so he can easily eat it without teeth! The food must taste delicious (although I haven’t tried it myself) but he loves it.
