This is such a great alternative to declawing. I never thought about what really happens when cats get their nails removed but when I decided to get a Kitty for my son I had to know what it really. I found the procedure to be very inhuman and unnecessary so I decided to just clip them every few weeks and keep them dull. I was shopping online for some kitty toys and furniture and ran into these and thought it was weird but after thinking about it I thought it was worth a try. I got them today and applied them while my son was asleep (he is 17 months old) and in the middle he woke up and Marley (my cat) got up to play so I tried to get them on while he was squirming around and after a few hours of playing a few of them fall off so I did it again and they have stayed on so far. I will update in a few day on whether they stay on or not but my recommendations are to do them while your cat is comfortable and happy, not squirmy. It is much easier and quicker. If they cat does get squirmy let him/her up and come back to it later so you can really get them on. All you have to do is put nail glue inside the nail and slip them on. It comes with a tube to attach to the nail glue that has a sharp tip so you can get it inside of the nail. Its a very clean procedure and SUPER cute. :D I am happy with my Soft Paws!

I got the first set of these and the glue was COMPLETELY dried out. I have used other ones before so I knew I wanted to get a new pack. It took a few days to get a replacement and the second set was fine.I use these on my cat all the time and I think it is a great product. However, for some reason the colored ones were smaller in the second pack that I got (even thought it was supposed to be the same size). So I love the product, not sure how well the company does to ensure consistency though.

I received blue and red soft claws. After putting them on I could see the blue was larger than the red. Not happy the blue larger size fell off of my cats since they were too big. My cats are 6 months and wear a small

Can't tell if they work or not because the glue was already solid the day I got it. Just took it out of the packaging and went to put them on my cat and no glue would come out. Checked further and the glue was solid. Not happy about spending this amount and not being able to even use them.

...pain in the butt to apply. I hate applying these and so do my cats. Work while they stay on but have to reapply every couple weeks whenever offending nail is free of cover.
