How long does it have to be in the freezer for adequate use?

initially perhaps an hour or 2, then i just leave it in the freezer for when i need it.

Does the upper part of this freeze? I need something for the back of my head, not so much my neck.

After freezing the pack for at least 4 hours prior to use, the entire 7x28" pack should freeze and stay cold for at least 20 minutes. Doctors recommend icing injuries and pains for no longer than that as prolonged exposure could cause damage to the skin.

Can i order extra clay packs only? not the whole thing. so i can i have one on me and one in the freezer to alternate.
