Great for little climbers!
I purchased this product for my 15 month old grandson in hopes that it would help give him a safe place to practice his climbing skills! He was climbing all over the chairs, tables, furniture and constantly pulled on my daughter's leg when she was working in the kitchen. Now she can put the learning tower at a safe spot near the kitchen counter and give him things he can play with on the countertop - this keeps him busy and he can see what his Mom is doing as well. Although he is 15 months old, he is a very good walker. It didn't take him long at all to learn how to climb into the tower - but it did take a couple of days to teach him to sit down and safely "scoot" out the side when he was ready to get down. Until he mastered this, we placed pillows around the sides just in case he took a spill while getting out - but he never did! What I didn't anticipate was how much his four year old sister would like the tower! She refers to it as "our playhouse".The tower went together very easily and it is heavy enough to hold up well, while still being light enough to move from place to place without difficulty. I wish now that I had gone ahead and purchased the chalkboard which attaches to the side...that will be next!

Awesome for little helpers!
My son LOVES this. He was about 16 months when we first got it, and we’ve had it for about 5 months. It’s great for keeping him contained while we work in the kitchen, and letting him watch and help. I move it a few times a week to the sink to let him play in the sink. It’s a bit awkward to move, but not too bad. It is bulky and takes up a bit of space, but has worked for us when we keep it on one side of the kitchen island. The adjustable shelf is easy to move but sturdy. My son has learned to climb into it on his own, but not yet out, which is nice :)We have the art easel attachment, and my husband added a homemade busy board on the other side.I do sometimes kick the feet, which can hurt a little. It’s not a dealbreaker for me.

Very sturdy and functional, but also expensive
The tower is very sturdy and my daughter (19 months) loves using it. She stands in it while I cook or clean and feels a part of the action. I would have given it 5 stars except for the following: 1)It is a pretty big piece of furniture and heavy. I realize this helps make it as sturdy as it is but just someting to note before purchase. 2)Think this piece is too expensive. The company seems to be able to get away with it as there are not a lot of products out there that can compete with it.

Definite bang for your buck!
I have wanted to get one of these for my toddler for a while. We were using a chair for him to be at the counter w me but it just wasn't super safe. My only hesitation was the price. He received it as a present recently and absolutely loves it. I love it too bc it allows him to be at the counter but in a safe way. Added bonus is that it looks really nice too. Well built that's for sure. I mean, it has a weight load of 500 lbs. I'm not sure what or who would ever go on there to test the limit, but it says more about how well it's made. We are beyond thrilled to have this now and as I said, my son is in love w it. This gives him a new sense of independence and freedom and he can actually be at the counter w me and help. We're looking into some of their other products now. Again, it may be costly but it is beyond worth it and more!

Expensive but give it a try!
When you have a child you end up buying a lot of products - some you end up using a lot and some not so much. This learning tower is one of the best purchases I have made for my son. I did not know about a product called "learning tower" but I was looking for something that I could use for him to help me while I was cooking in the kitchen instead of hanging on to my legs! That's when I found this learning tower listed on Amazon. It looked sturdy and safe so I decided to give it a try. And I wasn't disappointed! It arrived much sooner than the expected delivery date and it was straightforward to assemble. The stool is really heavy and solid and the quality shows in the product. We have used it for a month & I love it.Now as soon as I start doing the dishes my 19 month old starts pointing to this and says "stoo stoo" so I can move it closer to the sink for him to "help" me :).

Only good in theory!
After several recommendations, we decided to buy this for our 2 year old son. While it’s great in theory, we are totally regretting our purchase. First, it arrived with one of the feet dramatically smaller in size so it’s completely wobbly after assembling it.Secondly, this thing is SO huge and cumbersome. It takes up tons of space even in our very large custom built kitchen.Third, after only using it for a few weeks, it already has several scratches and dings. Yes, already! :( There needs to be some sort of updated coating to prevent this or just ordering the non-colored finished tower would be a better option. We now wish we would’ve ordered the natural color.Fourth, there are so many openings and gaps to the floor so be prepared to be cleaning up food and things that drop down in these gaps and openings. You will have to slide the tower over to be able to clean. Which brings me to my next issue...Fifth, moving this this to clean underneath it has completely scratched our brand new wood floors. WHY would the company NOT have rubber or felt underneath the legs to prevent this from happening?!? Be sure to protect your flooring before using this! And lastly, be sure to not let your child put their arm in front of the tower between it and the counter. My son did this and his arm got stuck. Luckily I was right there and was able to slide the tower away from the counter to remove his arm.And if you do decide to order this, DO NOT apply the gritty feet print stickers to the base. We did and after 1 cleaning, they are a MESS! Food and towel lint does NOT come out of them. We had to remove them and, in doing so, it ruined the finish underneath. My son loves being up high in. He enjoys watching and helping in it. He also likes having his snacks in it. Unfortunately, we will be sanding off the finish, rebuilding new legs to make it safer, and creating a different “floor” for it so we should’ve just built one ourselves from the beginning!
