Most of what is out there these days is "copper plated aluminum wire"... I needed flat wire that could hold up under carpet. While this wire is flat enough to not be a trip hazard I've read that the copper plated aluminum wire distorts/frays & begins to crumble when walked on and eventually will break strand by strand. That plus all the comments about corrosion of the aluminum. Transaction and shipping went well.
