Dragon Masters Series Set (Books 1-19)

Book set is wonderful, all books were there and in great condition. Did not come with box. The books are written with a trilogy in mind each time but all connect with the previous story so should really be read in order - many adventures continue on to the next story with more of an ‘episode’ conclusion in each book. There is an easy to grasp formula to each book, 1 new dragon, 1 new dragon master, discover them and solve a problem. Every main character is reintroduced every time in the first 2 chapters of each book and they offer plenty of ‘recap’ details to help the reader along. My 5 yr old sometimes gets a little bored in the first 3-4 chapters until the story picks up for the new adventure (we are up to book 11 now) but enjoys learning about the new dragon’s power and name and dragon master. Vocabulary is simple enough while introducing a few new words that expand her language understanding. There is a villain in the books, opposing dragon masters with their own views, and sometimes a monster but solutions are quick to present themselves so the danger doesn’t last too long. The dragon master characters are roughly ages 7-9 years old, and there are beautiful detailed pictures on each page inside. I’ve included 2 photos of the inside of the books, a page from 2 different stories, so you can see the sentence style and font size, and amount of words on each page.

We love these books we are reading the series start to finish. It is a great way to spend quality time with the kiddos. The books are great as I read much of it but they are to the level that my 1st grade can participate in reading with me. I would 100% recommend these books!!

I was picking up a few chapter books for my 6-yr old grandsons a few years back and I randomly picked up one of the Dragon Masters books. Well, they loved it and so did their 4-yr old sisters! I have been buying these books as they come out for two families. They did not disappoint. It is a series about 8-yr old kids who can communicate with dragons. Each child has their own dragon. The dragons and their masters are a very diverse group and always save the day. My next grandson, now 4 (third family), is starting the series, so I bought this set. It has been awesome and I plan on buying another set for my fourth family.

I bought these for my 2nd grade students (they were recommended by our school librarian) and they love them. They are reading levels N-P, but books 9 and up are level O (level N is the beginning of third grade reading level). Even my students that are not reading this level independently love these books. The stories are engaging, they are relatively short (large print and under 100 pages- perfect for the younger, chapter book reader) and there are beautiful illustrations on each page.

My son, who does not like reading, loves the stories of these books! He has enjoyed the adventure in every book we have read together so far, book 5. There is an illustration on every page so he can have something to look at & keep his attention. While it also has the larger words & more complex story line the the small children's books. I recommend it to all people with older children in their lives

I was nervous because several of the older review mentioned that not all the books arrived in the delivery. However, because the price was so great, we took a chance. I'm happy to report that we received all the books quickly and in excellent condition. My children love the books. It's perfect for a first-grade first chapter book experience and the stories are fun enough that it's not torture for the parent to listen to.

This series is perfectly written for young children around 6-10, and great enough to keep this momma entertained while reading it with her 7 year old. It’s a great early chapter book option. We have since purchased the rest of the series, and have pre-ordered the next book (#23) coming out in March.

These are wonderful books and the box set is a really great value. My 6yo and I are reading one each night at bedtime. We love them! There are pictures on each page to keep those intermediary readers engaged. We’ve even crated our own dragon stone necklace to go with the books! A great time with some engaging stories.

This books are the BEST for young boy readers who have grown out of picture books but chapter books are a bit overwhelming. Just the right amount of (fairly large) text to feel like a chapter book but in manageable bites with pictures. Product was shipped quickly in perfect condition, thank you!!
