In January I ordered a cartridge for my HP 4050se printer to have on hand when the old cartridge expired. It sat on the shelf for a few weeks before I actually needed it the first week of April. From the very first page it printed the copies were streaked and blurry. When I contacted the vendor "Databazaar" they pointed out that it was over 60 days since I ordered it and there was nothing they could do. A cursory examination would have revealed that the cartridge was full, not used and clearly defective but they were not even willing to look at it. So much for the "100% compatible" guarantee. The moral of this story is, it was a $27 gamble compared to the $106 cost of a genuine HP cartridge. So it was an inexpensive lesson. But if I did not have another printer in the office it could have been a very expensive lesson. If the performance of your printer is important to your livelihood don't fool around with so called "compatible" cartridges. Barry Perl CPA, Miami, Florida. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Cheap Alternative For HP LaserJet 4050 *by M***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 29, 2010* I purchased this as a replacement cartridge for an HP LaserJet 4050 and was a bit hesitant to not go with an "official" HP cartridge, but considering the savings I couldn't pass it up. This product works without issue and there is zero print quality difference from the HP cartridge. My HP printer is for home use, and doesn't see extended duty, and this replacement cartridge was a great fit at an awesome price. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good price, questionalble quality. *by S***Y on Reviewed in the United States on February 15, 2010* Good Price and the cartridge works. However, it is noisy and emits a high pitched squeak when printing. I have swapped out cartridges, and this is the only one that makes this noise. It makes me question the longevity of the product.
