Okay they’re not actually slimy. But the taste is bad. Not intolerable. Worth it for the benefits. But the first thing that came to mind when I took the first one was that scene in the lion king where simba eats a huge caterpillar or bug of some sort, and his facial expression is that he is all grossed out by the concept of eating it and the actual taste of it... but then his face changes to pleasantly surprised as he realizes that it staved off his hunger. These are the only b complex dissolvable vitamins that I have found that contain everything I need. I searched for hours and I found one that had everything but no folate, then another that had everything but not enough of one or two active ingredients. I was happy to find these and I would probably still take them even if they tasted like total crap because they have everything I’ve been looking for. But, they actually do not taste like total crap. There is an unidentifiable mild gross taste, but it is mixed with a very pleasant strawberry taste in attempts to make it more tolerable I’m sure. And it works to actually make it cover the weird/gross taste up a little bit. All in all, I can bare the taste and will continue to do so; daily, with gratitude. Why? Because I live in a country where I have the means and access to simply order essential nutrients for my body, and have them magically appear on my doorstep within a day or two. When there are so many countries and so many people in the world that are starving and lacking vital nutrients, even lacking clean water, or water at all. And here I am in my nice air conditioned home, not having to leave the comfort of it to have something delivered to my doorstep that has the ability to make me healthier. That being said,I definitely don’t want to be an “ungrateful, arrogant American”, complaining about such petty first world problems, like how something that I am blessed to have access to- FOR MY HEALTH- doesn’t taste like frosting or whipped cream.

Smell and taste are much better than the usual tablets. My child was rebelling against taking the traditional ones, but accepts these easily.
