Purchased this power strip because all of my current strips are short. It works well, has surge protection and has a heavy duty cord. I will be replacing all of my power strips with this one

The item is just as described. The Surge Protector is made of quality, sturdy material. It works well for all appliances and plug-in items and helps eliminate extra cords.

I needed a long cord power strip for a fan that helped circulate air in an alcove between bedroom, bathroom and main part of the apartment. The only usable outlet was in the bathroom, but a short 2 foot cord power strip was dangerous as it had to sit on small countertop next to lavatory. Only other possible outlet was in kitchen, but raised a trip hazard at main entry. The 6 foot cord on this one is just right! It can sit on the floor under the cabinet overhang, where it can't get splashed, near the door to easily plug in that fan, and still be accessible for plugging in other devices needed in the bathroom. The shape of the plug makes it impossible to plug anything else into the wall outlet, but it's difficult to get anything to stay plugged into that anyway. The plug on this stays put very well. Of course, as it spends all its time on the floor, it has to be sturdy, and it was the best price I found on similar items.

With it being the Christmas season we needed a new surge protector for our Christmas tree. They are so expensive! I stood in Walmart and decided to look at Amazon instead. I saw this one and I started reading reviews and it sounded like it would be a good product, so I ordered it right then and there. It has not let me down. I did not overload it, but I did fill up four of the plugs with Christmas lights and the Christmas tree. It has worked perfectly fine. Great value, great product, must order if you need one!

These were shipped really quickly and work very well and the 6 foot cord comes in handy would purchase again.

What you expect from a plug strip. Importantvthing is cord length. 6' is good (flexible uses).

Best surge protectors, but I mainly use these as extension cords as they're safer.
