Review: good - just installed in my 2008 335xi, n54. They look identical and seem to work just fine. idle was very smooth after popping in the new ones. no odis or coding needed. If you’re buying these keep in mind the intake and exhaust plugs are the same. so reversing those connections will cause the same DTC to appear. i didn’t have this issue but it’s a common mistake and i presume what happened to some people in these reviews saying they don’t work.

just installed in my 2008 335xi, n54. They look identical and seem to work just fine. idle was very smooth after popping in the new ones. no odis or coding needed. If you’re buying these keep in mind the intake and exhaust plugs are the same. so reversing those connections will cause the same DTC to appear. i didn’t have this issue but it’s a common mistake and i presume what happened to some people in these reviews saying they don’t work.

I've driven 200 miles since I installed these vanos sensors. My check engine light comes on and off as well as my idle is all over the place. I wouldn't recommend these. I have now driven 300 miles and still not working. I had to order new ones from another seller.
