Although Tupac Shakur had already released one solo album after leaving Digital Underground, it was 1993's STRICTLY 4 MY N.I.G.G.A.Z. that cemented his place in the hip-hop universe. A more musically diverse and lyrically heavy album than 2PACALYPSE NOW, this set included some of Tupac's sharpest writing yet. In particular, the singles "Papa'z Song" and "Keep Ya Head Up" were early proof of the rapper's more sensitive and thoughtful side, while "Souljah's Revenge" and "Point The Finga" addressed the state of the hip-hop nation in the wake of the anti-gangsta controversies of the previous three years. Musically, the album is of a piece with the stripped-down retro-funk style that Dr. Dre was turning into the dominant sound of West Coast hip-hop, although there's one throwback to Digital Underground's loopy playfulness on the party track "I Get Around." He talks about subjects in a way that reaches & teaches the black youth of the ghetto all while teaching people that might not live in an area where the subjects are not taught or recognize. His topics range from things that has happened in his life, police brutality, things that goes on within an ghetto/hood community and up lifting single mother's ( especially mother's of color). Very uplifting album I recommend this album to anyone going through hard times or that just love 90s hip hop such as myself. Review: Still Sending Messages - 2pac was one of a kind. Listening to his music, you still get those messages of unity and love.

Great instrumentals & excellent subject matter!
As a diehard 90s hip hop fan I recommend this album not simply because it's 2Pac but because the subject matter. (What he is talking about in his raps.) Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z. as I've heard it.
I bought this CD last Saturday and received it on Monday. I am very happy with this purchase. I have heard this CD millions of times before and bought digital copies of it, but I needed a hard copy. I also have All Eyez On Me. I'm pretty damn white, too. Race isn't a factor but I thought I'd throw that in there. :P I plan on getting Me Against the World soon. Hope it delivers like this one did!

En el álbum de debut de 2Pac, 2Pacalypse Now, el rapero se mostró como un hombre sumamente apasionado, rebosante de ideas y rabia y dispuesto a expresar sus opiniones políticas y sociales, llamando a las cosas por su nombre. Este mismo tipo de energía y agudeza lírica se encuentra en su segundo álbum, Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z., un disco que, aunque empieza a explorar el lado más gangsta del MC ("Last Wordz", por ejemplo, que cuenta con versos de Ice Cube y Ice-T), sigue incluyendo las líneas provocativas y reflexivas con las que se dio a conocer como artista en solitario. Por lo demás, decir que el envío sin duda ha sido espectacular por parte de Amazon y el CD llegó rápido y en perfecto estado.

Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z. è il secondo album del rapper statunitense Tupac Shakur, edito nel 1993, a due anni di distanza dal suo album di debutto. L'album diventò poi disco di platino. La metrica e il sound rende quest’album fenomenale, e permette allo stesso 2pac di esprimere il meglio di se. Per quanto riguarda la spedizione e lo stato fisico dell’album, sono pienamente soddisfatto.

I ordered it with delivery the next day, I didn't get a call and and missed it although I still got it in perfect condition. Had it on Vinyl but wanted it on CD so it's more accessible to listen to. A classic and I'm glad we got some good albums Form 2Pac before he passed, as I think his posthumous releases take a drop in quality, understandably so.
