Worth Coming Back To
Really, really terrific game. Still runs wonderfully on the SX in backwards compatibility, looks great, plays great, sounds great. 'Jumping' the games central mechanic, constantly keeps you moving and engaged, and keeps things fresh with all the little stories that play out as you jump between different civilians keeping them safe or putting them in mortal danger. You can also engage with hundreds of challenges, tricks and dares scattered about the city. For online folks, big potential negative, Ubisoft has long since shut the servers down, so all the online rankings, challenges and potential rewards (extra cars, skins, music?) are locked off eternally. But if you don't care about that or can get past it, this game absolutely rocks, and I especially appreciate the challenges that take you back to the Driver 1-styled missions from the PS1 days. Highly recommend this old title.
