Excellent product!
Great product and includes the vitamin C vial! Really helps with bacteria, etc. and keeps their breath odor free.

Works well for the price!!!
Great for my dogs and cat! Freshens breath and keeps their teeth clean. After the cost of deep cleanings for all of our pets it becomes overwhelmingly pricey! This helps in between!

Works well for my dog—easy to use

This is not a gel--it's a liquid
This is not a gel. It is a liquid. For me it is very hard to apply. The directions say put a pea sized amount on your finger--it just rolls off. I feel like I am wasting a lot of the product to get it on my finger and then rub my dog's teeth and gums. I do not know the effectiveness yet but I am hoping it will improve my dog's teeth. I am using it because it was recommended by my vet but just beware it is not a gel.

This WORKS! Use a small animal syringe to apply
I have used this for years, and the vets are always amazed at my 11 yr old cat's teeth. Before looking in his mouth, they ask if I brush his teeth (no), put anything in his water (no), give him regular dental cleanings (no). Then they look in his mouth and say,"OH! That's amazing! There's no gingivitis whatsoever!! How is this possible?" The application instructions are impossible on my cat. I use a CLEAN/sterile (boiling water), thin, pet medication syringe (have several from various medication treatments). Put it in the bottle with the plunger all the way down. Pull it up half way, STILL IN THE BOTTLE, press all the way down to get rid of the air bubble. Then pull up half way, take the syringe out of the bottle, and watch as I press out excess back into bottle until I get to .1 mL measurement. Insert in side of mouth, depress plunger fully, you are done (except for sterilizing the syringe). I do this every other day. Bottle lasts OVER a year in fridge from date opened before turning brown; in fact I have yet to see it turn brown, I get rid of it when it turns a dark green.

Cleaner for your dogs teeth. Easy to use and dogs don’t mind the taste. Breath fresher.

Maxi-Guard was a Miracle Worker
We have a 1 1/2 year old female Maine Coon cat. Even at this young age, she had very bad gingivitis which in Maine Coons can often result in stomatitus which will ultimately require all of the cats teeth to be extracted - a very sad situation. Fortunately a friend of mine (also a Maine Coon owner) was familiar with Maxi-Guard and suggested I try it. Fortunately Roxie our cat was willing to let us apply the product to her gums on a nightly basis (with the help of a treat or two). Withing three months, all signs of gingivitis were gone. Our pet dentist was amazed and now recommends Maxi-Guard to his other patients in a similare situation. I totally believe that Maxi-Guard prevented us having to remove all of Roxie's teeth.

My beardies don't mind it. I put it on a q-tip to swab their gums and one actually tries to eat it because of the blue colour (I assume, because doesn't have a smell or taste) which makes it so much easier to brush her teeth because she opens her mouth for it

I use this before my dogs go to bed as part of their dental regime. I use a small syringe as I find it squirts better onto the back teeth. I also use plaque off in their meal and chicken necks or kangaroo tendons every alternate day. My two dogs have lovely teeth. I would rather do this than have them undergo anaesthesia to have their teeth cleaned by the Vet.

Veterinarians love to make money. One of my cats has a dental cleaning almost annually. The 13.5-yr-old has had 2 separate extractions (the second due to reabsorptive lesions). The young one is prone to gum inflammation. The vet is amazing, and recommended this about 8 months ago. I trust his judgement, especially when he said this product will keep their teeth and gums healthy. Maybe that’s why I haven’t brushed them daily this year. I haven’t noticed anything amazing, but I also don’t see any increase in inflammation. I plan on keeping this on hand.

I use a soft paint brush to apply to my cat's gums - works a treat

My senior cat developed this sore/ulcer in his mouth. I bought this hoping to avoid some expensive vet bills and it worked! Just applied with a Qtip on his gums and in the mouth, and it worked in a week or two! It also softened up some of his old tartar, enough so that I could break it off with my nail. I would recommend this product! Was very pleasantly surprised.
