Make sure you buy the right ones. There is easy connect and the screw in. I bought the wrong ones and had to “eat” the cost. I love using my soda stream to make magnesium water with Crucial Four sodium bicarbonate and cold distilled water. I drink a small glass daily for health benefits. You can also make magnesium spray for getting/etc..

For those who are having success with these CO2 cartridges for their Sodastream machines... great (sincerely). These are likely ideal for manual units. I have a Sodastream Power which is the electric version of the machine from a couple years ago.. actually I've had this unit for about 2.5 years. It has worked without any issues UNTIL I installed Soda Sense cartridges and all hell broke loose. Literally.. BROKE my machine (same thing another person mentioned in their review in regards to the cartridges perhaps having too much pressure in them.. likely a non-issue for manual operation) Due to the pandemic, it has been a challenge to find new CO2 cartridges via retail.. so when I found Soda Sense via Amazon I got pretty excited to find a compatible option. I wish I had just gone directly to the Sodastream company website for replacement / exchange cartridges... which is very easy to do. However, I ended up having to buy a new machine (One Touch). My old machine, now useless thanks to Soda Sense, will hopefully be able to be recycled or perhaps repaired. I didn't notice before purchasing that I'd be unable to return the cartridges if needed. Since the cartridge are not empty I'm not even sure I can even return them to Soda Sense for recycling. Maybe I should figure out a way to safely release the pressure.. I don't feel comfortable just chucking them in the garbage. So for me.. this was a bad experience. The product seems well made... just like the regular Sodastream cartridges. I hate the feeling of having just thrown away money.. and I just noticed the price of these things is now 10 bucks more than what i paid. Anyways.. apparently there are many other people out there who are happy with the product.. evident by the high rating. Just wanted to add my 2 cents and let people know .. if you are using a Sodastream Power.. and install the Soda Sense cartridge.. there just might be an explosion of fizzy water through your machine and all over your kitchen counter-tops and floors.. rendering the machine inoperable for future use.
