Review: Most effective for hammer toe - This device is by far the most effective device I’ve found to straighten hammer toes. I’ve tried several different devices, all were cheap and ineffective. This device pulls the hammer toe down and straightens it,you can feel the tendon that pulls the toe start to relax. It’s taken decades for the hammer toe to form so I don’t expect it will be fixed in a short time.the only drawback that I’ve found is the flat part of the device reaches out beyond the toes and makes it difficult to wear socks or shoes but the part beyond the toes can be trimmed off. Hopefully the manufacturer will make an adjustment for future models.
Review: No way to adjust them to fit your toe. - They are useless. Very uncomfortable, rigid and not soft. No directions included. Would never recommend them. If I could give a negative star, I would. Waste of money.

**Q: What do you do with the extra material from the strap on back side of Toe Straightener?**
A: Ya' know, it just hangs there. These work for a while, then you have to re-thread them, (because they come out) but they're worth a try; we all have different issues, (they eventually break down) and we're not going to train our toes at later stages of our lives.  I just wear Big Toe dividers mostly these days., keeping those from crowding-out the others. I have Hammer Toes, my Big Toes want to make left & right turns, my 3 little ones are curving toward the others, the VA screwed up the one operation I had; second toe is sticking upward, the Big Toe is making less of a turn, but should of been made straighter. Good luck w/ whatever you have going on...

This item feels comfort when you put it on, however the band around the your toe slips back and the front of the pad is too long and uncomfortable in your shoe.
