These Fairtex SP5 shin guards offer excellent protection while still feeling lightweight and comfortable. The SP5 shin guards are very well made. The padding is thick and offers great protection during heavy sparring, but they're still lightweight and comfortable. They stay in place and don't slide around during kicks, which I really appreciate.

Fairtex is known for its quality and standards. These are no different! Great quality right out of the bag. Feels good fits good. I ordered medium which goes up to 5’10” instead of Large which starts at 5’10” I like them to be a big more snug as I don’t have overly large legs. If you are long legged I may go with large but these fit me great. One thing I loved right away is that the Velcro straps THROUGH the shiny guard. Many are elastic which tend to slide around more on your legs and you find yourself adjusting them regularly. These hold on tight. They are nice and thick padding for protection but don’t feel overly bulky on your legs so you still have great movement. These are definitely worth every penny!

I bought these a little over a year ago and I’ve used them around 35 times for sparring. They have really good padding and fit well and comfortably. They don’t slide much during use and I’m very happy with them. Quality construction and materials. Two thumbs up.

Not a perfect fit around the ankles yet better than other brands. The shin guards do not shift or slide on roundhouse kicks which is so important. Strap length is better than others. They give very good protection.

I love these microfiber shin guards for muai-thai boxing. Comfortable, lightweight but rugged, and stylish. I use the second foot straps around my feet, not ankle, so the foot guard covers most of my toes. I also love that these are not made of leather.

It's Fairtex quality, not much more to add. They have a good snug fit and sit tight on the chin without moving around. Shaped to provide protection to the sides of the chin as well

I ordered these to replace a set of slip on RDX shin protectors, that while they serve a purpose if you have tree trunk legs and thrown insanely hard kicks, the RDX protectors outright suck, unless your goal is pure shin conditioning! Pretty sure the foam for the impact surface on the Fairtex ones are twice as thick and considerably denser. The quality is fantastic, it really does feel like a handmade item with high quality, yet at what I would call an economical price for protective gear. It is the Fairtex Syntek Leather, so faux leather; however after many hard kicks into my heavy bag I can't even see a visible scuff on my white shin pads, yet somehow there are white scuffs on my heavy bag! For context I was kicking my bag with these covering a potato sized green and black bruise on my shin that hurt to touch and I couldn't feel a thing. Only gripe is with my tree trunk legs the lower velcro strap is about 1 inch too short for my comfort, it hooks and holds but it could be a smidge longer. I'm 6 foot tall and ordered a medium using their sizing, which medium was basically my exact numbers and they fit like a glove.
