Would this work for testing lead to be cast into bullets?

Definitely not. Shore A is for testing soft rubber like erasers, skate wheels, o-rings, etc. Shore D is is for testing harder materials like shoe soles, solid rubber wheels and plastic cutting boards. For a lead hardness tester, see Buffalo Arms, Brownells, Midway, Lee, or Redding.

Would this work for testing O rings? It's only 3 mm in diameter.

As long as you can contact and depress the O-ring with the pointer on the hardness tester, you can meaure it albeit trying to accurately get it on the mean diameter will take some effort and trials.

What battery is required to be used in the durometer Shore C?

I have the shore A meter. It uses a single LR44 button cell. I would assume all three models use the same battery.

Good accuracy for low price

I've only used it a few times so far and it is for Shore A hardness. I haven't verified it with more expensive equipment, but across multiple different parts it gives an appropriate reading compared to what the manufacturer claims.

Helps find a good tire pressure

As most probably know mfg tire pressure recommendations are usually wrong. I use this to find a good tire pressure, by observing when the tire warms and softens. Especially during winter rides. Handy tool to have. It answers a key question for not a lot of money.

Durometer condemned after one month

I purchased this item in March of 2024 and sent it out to a reputable company in April to make sure it was calibrated. I was notified by the company that is condemned, is not reading properly and can't be fixed. What a piece of junk!! And of course it is past the time that I can return it!!!

NOT Switchable between A/C/D - Shore A Hardness Tester Only - Also Incorrect Tip

Based on the title of the product, I was expecting a Shore Hardness tester with interchangeable tips for the different A, C and D scales. What I received was a Shore A hardness tester only with a single fixed tip. However, the tip does not even appear to be correct. I included a Macro picture above showing the reference picture for the tips compared to the indenter tip in the device. For Shore A, the diameter of the blunt tip should be 0.79mm. The Calipers in the image are set to 0.79mm. As you can see the tip has a smaller diameter. This device is unlikely to give correct Shore readings.
