The love of my new-to-mommyhood life
I have an incredibly cuddly baby who is just a few months old and I love the bonding opportunity the Moby gives us! This is the perfect accessory for parents who want to get a little grocery shopping or housework done but like to keep their little one close. Learning to tie the Moby is a breeze. I'd recommend looking at a photographic tutorial rather than reading one... It's much easier than it sounds! The baby is genuinely very secure. I started wearing our little girl when she was only a couple of weeks old. Having tried a sling carrier and a Moby, I feel there is NO comparison to how secure and confident I feel with my daughter in the Moby carrier. It's portable! So easy to fold (or let's be honest... wad up) the Moby and toss it in the diaper bag before heading out for the day. To be so long, it's surprisingly compact. Anybody can use it. Since it's just a long, stretchy cloth, my husband and I can easily share the amazing experience of doing every day life with our sweet girl coming along for the ride. There are no irritating sizes to sort through or buckles to figure out. It's a one size fits all cuddling system ;) Look up the health benefits of "baby-wearing" as well... Our little girl has been an absolute dream when it comes to fussiness and sleeping at night, and I have to say that I think the skin on skin contact during the day has heavily contributed to her sweet disposition!

Love the material
I read most of the reviews before I purchased this product. After using the wrap several times for my 2 month old, I rate it 5 stars. I love the material, it is easy to use, comfortable, and my baby likes it. Before I bought it, I was using a Baby Bjorn - but it only offers 2 carry positions for my little one, and she is too small for one of them. I also had been using an Infantino sling (hated it, hated it, hated it). I was looking for something that gave me more body surface contact with my baby and offered more positions, and was comfortable to wear. The Moby wrap fulfills all of these needs for me. I think it is way more comfortable than my Baby Bjorn - although it does take slightly longer to assemble. I have to disagree with people who thought that it is hard to use - just read the first two pages of the instruction manual - the rest is pretty instinctual. Once you have the basic wrap pattern down, you can figure out tons of ways to use it for your baby. I haven't washed it yet, and I am a little nervous about how it will retain its color and shape when I do. I am very satisfied with my purchase and hope to be using this product for a long time to come!

I live in this.
This wrap is amazing. It has grown with my baby. Unlike lots of other carriers, it accommodates newborns without any special insert. My baby really liked being snuggled right up to my chest. When we're going outside, I can just zip up a fleece over this and put a hat on him, without having to bundle him up lots (unless it's very cold); my body heat keeps him warm. When he was first born my baby had a heck of a time getting to sleep. Then he would get cranky and wail and shriek. The only thing that really worked for me was to put him in the Moby and walk around while singing to him. If he was particularly unhappy, we would use the Moby to do prolonged skin to skin. Once he fell asleep, I could do laundry, housekeeping, pay bills, surf the internet, etc., all while he was asleep on my chest. It was really a godsend. Another great aspect of the Moby over other carriers is that my husband and I can use the same one because it's not size specific. We have a few other carriers ( we bought several for trial and error) and either they're the wrong size for one of us or have to be readjusted when the other person uses it. It's a PITA. With this, we both use it, and we bring it with us whenever we travel. Highly recommend. UPDATE: July 2015. After using Moby Wraps for several years with two kids, I still love this. It's a bit more difficult with older kids, and I've used other carriers after the kids have turned one, but this is more than worth the investment for the first year. I usually use it as a gift for a baby shower.

The ABSOLUTE BEST wrap - just watch a demo video on YouTube and you'll see how easy it is to actually use
I was a little intimidated by the long piece of fabric but I just went on YouTube and searched "Moby Wrap" to find a demo video and I realized just how easy this is to use (there are lots of videos to be found!) I have been using this since my son was born (he's nine months old now) and I absolutely love it. I have used it walking around the city (we live in NYC), in the airport, and even just around the house when he's having a fussy day. I love that I can tie it on before I go out to it's ready to go - this eliminates the worry of the fabric touching a diry floor or the ground outside. It holds him secure, which is more than I can say for other carriers. It can be a little warm but I just dress him based on what the weather is outside. If I'm tucking his arms in, I just put a little beenie on him and no jacket. If I'm going to leave his arms out (now that he's older, it gives him a little more freedom to look around) I'll put a light hoodie on him. As long as you keep in mind the body heat factor, you should not have any issues with your little one overheating. This this has been washed so many times and it holds up extremely well. If I've used a lot, I'll wash it just to shink it a bit, since it can get a little stretched out. This is by far, one of the absolute best baby items I have purchased. I can't say enough great things about it. I highly recommend giving it a try.

This is the best wrap I've purchased! I have a few other "high end" wraps and this is by far the most comfortable and most supportive for baby. I have a horrible lower back and this supports baby so well that it has been helping with my back. Baby is nice and snug. I only wish I had this when she was a newborn. She is 2 months old now but will definitely be using this for future babies as newborns. Supports new baby's head very well.

I got all excited when my wife put this on… I thought “finally, she’s in a straight jacket!!” Turns out she’d just found a clever way to carry our baby comfortably. Pro tip: Be carefully saying the straight jacket thing out loud… it actually frees up her arms to slap you!! Seems to work a treat for the baby carrying though.
