You would be lucky to any plants from each package. Not a great purchase. **Q: Once planted will these herb plants regrow or is the purchase of more seeds necessary?** A: most herbs are annuals, so you would need seed to begin again. a few are perennial. **Q: How big of a pot is recommended for these?** A: It comes with sponge like cones that is the growing media. A pot would have to be about 2 inches. I grow a bumber crop of basil and chives. Nothing else did well, forget vegetables it's to small **Q: Can i use these with and led garden and will i have to add more soil?** A: Yes you can. This product is great to use for starting seeds under the LED garden setting or any indoor light setting. I did not have to add any additional soil for the initial start up. Once I repotted into larger pots I cut open the mesh down the sides a little to make sure my seedlings roots would have no issues continuing to grow. I was thrilled with this product and how easy it was to use. I grew all kinds of vegetables and flowers. Absolutely adorable. Clear and useful instructions that my 6 year old could follow on her own. Everything germinated and thrived indoors for several months before succumbing to a pest problem. That's no fault of the product, of course. We loved this product and will probably buy it again. My only gripe is that the markers were cute BUT molded pretty quickly and had to be disposed of. Sealing them on your own might help but I didn't try that initially so it was too late. Love the product though. Packaging was my favorite part. I was pleasantly surprised by how many seeds were in each pouch—far more than you can plant with the number of peat pellets provided. I used old takeout containers as a germination tray and put them under a grow light and they all beat the estimated germination length on the packet by several days. Basil was sprouting within 3 days. Parsley took longer to show but then shot up 2 inches in 2 days. Unfortunately my kit did not come with the bamboo labels. I’ll have to buy those separately I guess. Otherwise I’m glad I ordered the seed + pellet duo. If you have the ability to just go to a hardware store it will probably be cheaper, but that’s not always an option. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Great Starter Kit *by K***H on Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2022* The compacted soil disks are really small; they didn’t expand as much as I thought they would after soaking. I added the seeds to the disks and later planted them in small pots with additional soil. Perhaps that’s why it’s called a “starter” kit. I recommend soaking the seeds for 24hrs before putting them in the soil disks. This will help them germinate/sprout quicker. This is a great gift for anyone who enjoys cooking with fresh herbs or someone who is interested in gardening.
