I am typically a size 12 in pants with a 43 inch hip, 26 inch thigh and I ordered the XL(12). Fits perfectly. I have a smaller waist for my hip size (31 inch waist) and they are almost mom jeans so if you have a wider core then these may not fit. My waist/hip ratio is pear shaped so not sure this is for an apple shaped person. I wish they had more colors because I'd buy again. Overall I'm happy; makes me feel like I'm not on my way out of my thirties! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Order a size up *by T***A on January 15, 2018* Super cute shorts, however I would recommend ordering a size up. I was able to put them on and everything, but there was major muffin top going on.
