I am known to pack everything and the kitchen sink- so the fact that this took up close to none was SUPER important. Originally when I bought this jacket, I was just looking for a cute white jacket but it turned out to be one of the warmest items of clothes I own. I live in the PNW, and this jacket is perfect for that type of rainy, cold (but not quite snowing), weather. I have an auto-immune disease that can make temperature changes really difficult on my body and if I get too cold or 'chilled' it can cause me to go into about 24hour episodes of really sharp pain throughout my body- this jacket has been my SAVIOR. The warmth is so surprising since this jacket is super slim and flattering (for a puffer obviously). It looks really cute over hoodies for an extra shell, and is small enough to fit under a snow jacket for an extra shell too. Also, with cheap atheltic/polyester fabrics I find after a long days wear they can sometimes develop of old dusty type of smell (maybe not the best description- but you all know what I'm talking about) and I could wear tanks and sweat a little under this without it developing that musty scent.Summary:compact, waterproof, warm, and flattering!!
