This is a beautiful stool. Good and sturdy for a heavy and older person. Yes as reviews comment it will require maintenance over time to prevent mold and mildew. The same would be for anything you put in water regularly. This is better long term solution to a plastic and tin shower stool which brock after 6 months. This item is worth the money. Shipped promptly and in great condition.

Stylish & Functional Seat
Stands stably in my shower. I purchased this January 2025, and it continues a year and a half later looking beautiful with minimal care. This wood is fully sanded soft and smooth and coated with a lovely finish. Arrived promptly and ready to use. Highly recommend this product and brand!
