Splurge if you want the best taste and baking performance
This is wonderful quality chocolate for baking. The perfect flavor, and good melting ability. The high cacao percentage just adds a bit of luxurious taste to your baked goods. I use them for truffles and pots de creme and they always taste great!

Taste bud tantalizing, silky, mouth watering pure enjoyment to bake with and devour a pan banging chocolate chunk cookie to chocolate frosting to finely flaked upon warm oats to a raspberry tart! Old world delicacy incarnate.

Excellent baking chocolate! Large delivery fee.
This is some of the best baking chocolate I have ever used, after 56 years in the kitchen. I removed one star because I cannot purchase it straight through Amazon, but have to get it through Whole Foods, with the hefty delivery fee, significantly increasing its cost per ounce. To label it as $1.18/ounce is deceitful, since there is a $9.95 delivery fee, which more than doubles the cost of the chocolate. 😢. I feel like I must either trek across the county and shop at Whole Foods in person (do they have motorized shopping carts for the mobility disabled?) or place a large Whole Foods grocery order to distribute the $9.95 over multiple items. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth, when I would much rather have the taste of this delicious chocolate.

I love them!
I love these - better than the Guittard 74% chocolate 'baking wafers' that have slightly different ingredients. I consider them fairly healthy, in small servings of 1/2 oz or less

Dark Chocolate is the best & these bars are only 8% sugar. What's not to like ?
This Guittard chocolate is made for baking, but for me, it's my nibbling chocolate. I like the taste of dark chocolate, much better than milk chocolate. I also have to restrict my sugar intake making this Guittard bittersweet chocolate my treat anytime I have a chocolate urge. The flavor is just right, I limit myself to 3 rectangles plus the sugar content is a low 8%, making everything right with Guittard, bittersweet baking chocolate. Try it yourselves. it's just a pure chocolate pleasure.
