APEX GEAR Axim 6-Pin Sight .010" Detachable Bracket Bronze

I received this item on time then installed it on my bow. I had a different model of the bow site a while back, and loved it. This model for some reason had the threading for the fiber light wrong. I am not which is has the error, but I couldn't mount the light in the socket on either end of the site.

I did not see the .010 inch designation on the sight pins when I ordered the sight and found that my "old" eyes could not see the pins on a cloudy day past 35 yards. Also, I was looking for hunting sight and found the diameter of the ring is too small to allow 6 pins to be set up for heavier hunting arrows. There just isn't enough room to set up 6 pins in10 yard increments using 475 grains hunting arrows. I think it would be a great sight for light arrow 3D competition. The sight seemed well made and easily adjustable when sighting in and had I bought it for that venue the ratings would be higher,

The truglo apex sight has all the options an amateur 3-D target shooter, bow hunter, or indoor target shooter needs. Quick detach, adjustable length, light, 6 pins, and now a lens kit for under $50. Other lenses go for $80+. I like the look and appreciate the accuracy of this sight. You can not beat the price for all the options it gives. I have owned this sight for the past 2 years and have no need to upgrade my hunting/target bow.
