Hershey's Pot of Gold Milk and Dark Chocolate Caramel Collection, 10-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 2)

Hershey's is a solid brand name, and they make good, but ordinary chocolate bars. What chocolate lover would decline the offer of a Hershey's bar? Hershey's has stepped up their game quite a bit, however, with their Pot of Gold collection. The chocolates are delicious. The fillings (and the chocolate itself) are silky smooth and tasty. Although similar in quality to a Whitman's sampler, I like the Pot of Gold chocolates better because they just taste better. Whitman's Sampler Assorted Chocolate, 12-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 3) The Pot of Gold line is not as good as a box of Godiva chocolates, but it's a small fraction of the price. You can satisfy your sweet tooth with the Pot of Gold chocolates, and save the Godiva chocolates for a special occassion.

I have seen a lot of bad reviews about this candy. Let me tell you that I buy Gourmet chocolate like Godiva, Leonidas, and LA Burdick. This chocolate is almost as Good! Better than Russell Stover IMO. I was pleasantly surprised. Hershey uses quality ingredients and I liken these chocolates to Ghirardelli Carmels. They are not the chewy kind of caramel except for a few pecan nut ones and a couple of mini pecan turtles. The nuts are smaller because the chocolate pieces are small and some have complained the nuts aren't big enough. Baloney! The assortment has a mix of milk and dark chocolates and flavors like caramel, toffee, coffee, fruit hints, raspberry, etc. but by no means are these cremes. They remind me of Godiva flavored caramel filled bars. I buy these as gifts and you get a pound and a quarter from two ten ounce boxes. What a Deal! What a price! Why spend a ton of money for only sightly better gourmet chocolate! Buy them and enjoy! I've had many compliments from friends that liked the chocolates.

The caramel used in these chocolates must have been preservatives and additives but didn't really taste like caramel. If you really like caramel I would not recommend these chocolates.

The nuts in the candy were,very old n made my mouth feel like I just ate something rotten! Other than that I liked the rest of the candy,but how do get that bad taste out of your mouth or mind.

So if you're looking for whole almonds or pecans, you won't get them here. The nuts found in some of the chocolates are minced and not very wholesome. It's easy to get bored of this box.

Bought these as a present for the hubby...and I wound up eating most of them. These are very good and lots of options.

Great Price fro Great Chocolate. It does not get any easier than that. Good variety, and there's a legend to let you know what each piece is. No more finger holes in the bottom of the confection to identify your selection :)
