i bought this only after first purchasing the cheaper imitation replacement label tape which was thinner and didn't work correctly.this is the correct thickness and takes the embossing letters/numbers correctly, same as the original label tape.and the adhesive has the same adhesion strength as the original tape.

As good as I remembered from my child hood! I already finished one red roll. Just make sure you press the label maker hard to get clear letters.

I go through this stuff like water. What can I say? Love the red color. The Dymo take is great for everything!!

I would give this tape five stars if it wasn't a bit thinner than my old tape. Also, the (embossed) lettering does not appear as bright and distinctive either. This may be because this new tape has a matte finish where my old tape has a more glossy/shiny surface. The tape reel appears well made and fit/inserted easily in my old Dymo labler. It was also nice to easily find it here on Amazon.FYI: I have been using my Dymo labler for over 30 years to label my tenant's mailboxes and building directory. Since I don't have a lot of moves, I have been using my (10-20 year) old tape. I only use the black and red tape. The (old) tape has been very good lasting many (over 10) years for some tenants. I hope to get the same results with this new tape...for the next 20 years.

This item is for ONE roll of tape. Not sure what happened when someone got 10 rolls, but don't consider that in your calculus. You are purchasing ONE roll of tape. Otherwise the item is what it is. You can label to your heart's content or until your ONE roll is gone.Didn't want anybody else to mislead themselves like I did.
