Compare this with the bed head deep waver? which is better for shorter hair? my hair is about a 1/2 off my shoulders

I don'y have experience with the deep waver, but my hair is in layers and it is cut in a bob, just above my shoulders also. I love this waver ! Makes a nice wave without the kinky look. Just takes some practice. There are a ton of videos on YouTube show how to use this waver in short hair. Check them out and I think you will have a better idea. Hope this helps.

It makes your hair crimped, not curly which I didn't like but if you want big crimps, then girl, it's for you! I returned because mine kept going off when supposed to be on! Faulty one. Good luck!
