Revivied, restored and charged my motorcycle battery in a few hours and brought it back to tip top performance! Good quality product well made and really good strong sturdy clamps included , simple to use and desulfurization mode worked a treat and cycled through quick enough and charged my battery back to full now after being left out for a month or more in freezing cold storage . Excellent bit of kit. Does exactly what you want and the dead battery revive function works superbly. I don't use my hybrid enough for the 12v battery to charge much, so it frequently drops below a voltage other chargers won't detect, subsequently not charging and leaving me with no way to charge it. This unit detects below 1v so allows power to the battery. Small, lightweight and compact so no bulky storage. Easy to use and doesn't create much heat. Highly recommend

I bought this NOCO battery charger to replace an ageing battery charger, and I needed a charger that would be suitable for the newer AGM/ Stop start batteries. Initially I had been given advice to purchase a well known competitor to the NOCO, but as I already own, and highly rate the NOCO jump starter/booster pack, I decided that I would stick with the brand. From the moment you open the box, it's clear to see that NOCO take time and effort to design and manufacture their products. The products are so well made, which make it a refreshing change from all of the usual cheaply produced rubbish that you see. The charger is a sturdy bit of kit and feels it. The battery lead come in two pieces - which is a brilliant idea. It makes it so much easier to attach the battery clamps to the battery, without worrying about the charger banging around behind. Especially as is often the case these days, the batteries can often be buried in the car somewhere. Talking of the battery clamps, they are a perfect size, not too big or too small, and the clamping pressure is spot on. The other advantage of the lead being in two is that you could permanently attach the clamp end to your battery terminals (obviously using the ring terminals instead of the clamps) and then leave the lead permanently attached to the car. It's simply a case then of attaching the other end (with the charger attached) to the lead - perfect if you want to regularly top up your battery. The end you leave on the car has a well made cover that simply attaches over the end and keeps it clean and dry, and the connection between the two leads is well constructed. On to the charger. It's so easy to use. Connect it all up to the battery and turn the mains on. The charger instantly goes on to standby, something that most battery chargers don't do, and I for one think it's an excellent safety feature. Simply press the button to select your battery type and leave it to do its job - it's that simple. The led's are nice and bright and show clearly the charging process of the battery. This is an excellent product and there are many reviews online for you to view before taking my word for it. Well done NOCO, another excellent product!

The NOCO Genius5 appears to work very well. Have now charged two batteries and both now work fine. Delivery was very swift and the item arrived the next day as scheduled. The packaging is very well made and there was no damage to the contents. However there was a problem, the packaging did not contain the instructions and initially I assumed that it was easy to use. (actually is) However I was not sure how to set it. As a result I could not use it until I had Chased down on the WEB. I found the right section and correct instructions and down loaded them. Once I had this I was able to proceed. So far the product has performed well, just a pain that the instructions were not included. If they were not supposed to be there ( several products now as you to down load the manual) then it would be better to put a note in the box with the product. However the site video says to refer to the instructions so they should be there I assume.

Intelligent temperature compensation for all-season charging. Cons: The interface is simple, but you must read the manual to understand the different light patterns for the Repair mode. The cables are of good quality, but they can be a bit stiff in very cold temperatures. Final Verdict: Whether you need to maintain a seasonal vehicle or try to rescue a discharged battery, the NOCO Genius5 is a professional-grade tool that is remarkably easy to use. It’s an essential piece of kit for any garage.

I bought this new Genius5 to replace my old Genius 750 which I’ve had for a while, still works but just takes an eternity to finish its charging cycle on a car battery. Used the Genius5 for the first time today and it topped up a small car battery fairly quickly. My only gripe is that the manuals for both these products are unclear and need rewriting. Just to add, after three days on a 9 year old battery the green light is still pulsing and hasn’t turned solid. I can only assume that it’s still trying to desulphate and recondition the bunged up plates in the old battery. Either that or it’s finished and gone into maintenance mode. This is the area where the manual needs clarifying in my opinion as it can pulse green for two separate reasons and unless you sit and watch the charger you wouldn’t know which mode it’s in. Will post back if and when it finishes. Well it’s been on charge for four days now and still pulsing green. Contacted Noco and they advised me it will only fleetingly go to solid green then start pulsing single green again once the battery charge levels dips back to its ‘resting’ charge. Decided to unplug it tonight and use the car. I’ve shared the Noco chat advice as a photo below, hope that this helps.
