A: Yes and no. Ac tig is best for some types of aluminum. So you’ll need to be mindful of the kind of aluminum you are welding.

A: I use this welder to build bumpers for racecars, it should easily handle some frame work

**Q: What welder should I get? if I’m doing multiple types of metal no thicker than 1/4 inch**
