My old cheaper acetylene regulator finally gave up the ghost, so I invested in a Victor regulator, which has the reputation of quality.

I had an old Victor regulator finally blow an O-ring between the high and low side, and I could have rebuilt it, but I found this regulator for about $10 bucks more than the rebuild kit, and I don't need fancy features like tank pressure drop compensation, so it was kind of a no brainer to replace it. So far it's worked perfectly fine.

No returns - Better quality Gauges elsewhere
I had made this purchase for the company in the past, but apparently it is not as good as the one they went with after. Unfortunately I don't need this exact item and the seller has no options for return exchange or refund.

New victor acteylene regulator replaced older (30+yrs ) victor regulator
New regulator uses rotating dial type handle. Appears to be more sensitive than earlier "T" handle. Otherwise has same form, fit, function as earlier model One problem . Owners Manual suggests recording supplier, purchase date and serial number. I looked all over regulator and could not find serial number. Put in call to Victor Customer Service and am waiting for reply. Arrived a few days earlier than originally planned. Amazon kept me informed of new arrival date,
