12V PTC Air Heater Ceramic Air Heater Heating Element 200W DC 12V Electric Insulated Ceramic Thermostatic High Power Element Heater

On my desktop, ambient temp 70 degrees F, no significant airflow. At 11.8 volts, initial current was about 16 amps, then reduced down to 5.5A as the Unit Under Test topped out at slightly over 400 degrees F. That translates to 205 Celsius. Amps would increase as I gave is a little more volts. So confirmed, it can consume approximately 200W of power on start up. Whether it can continue to release that much power at operating temperature depends on the medium, iow's ambient temp and flow over the radiator fins. My app is an instant-on auxiliary heater within an vintage automobile hvac, to get defrost going well before the engine coolant becomes useful. With such a high temperature, I'll be mounting it directly the existing stock heater core, keeping well away from plastics.

Did a quick test when I got, it direct to battery and this little heating block heats up QUICK! It needs a way to control it, I added thermostat with a relay and a computer fan. It also draws ~30 Amps so make sure to use a heavy gauge wire. It's my emergency space heater under the sink plumbing in my RV, there is a low point that gets colder and more susceptible to freezing even when the main heat is on.

This product is exactly as described It works well doesn't get as hot as I would like but for what it is it works very well

I used this to pre-heat the cold air for the intake system on my Japanese mini truck. Made a housing for it to fit in in the intake, and it works fabulously.
