Cheap, effective, a good buy
At first I thought charcoal rakes were just one more accessory that isn't needed, but after doing a bit of grilling and struggling to move coals around, I found this is a helpful tool to have. The weber one looks nice but isn't available anywhere and is more money. Plus this one breaks down in half. it wobbles some at the connection but again its a charcoal rake. Not a hoe.

Surprisingly excellent!
Since it was priced so low, I was expecting a relatively flimsy item. Nope! It's well made, sturdy, and is the perfect length for our firepit (Solo Stove Yukon). We are happy customers!

Good choice
I like the length. I have been using a big screwdriver as a (charcoal rake) for the last couple years. I didn't even know such a thing as a charcoal rake existed. Until the handle fell off my screwdriver from the weather (5 winters). I had no reason to look for a replacement. My screwdriver was 12 maybe 14 inches. And that is OK, if I use my grilling mitts also. But this is like 30 inches. Nice. And it pretty thick and durable. seems like it will last. I have only one complaint. The unit will come apart in the middle. Which is great, I can put it in my grill back. With all my other tools, mitts, thermometer, grill lifter, brass brush. All that stuff. My complaint? When I assemble the two half together, there is a little wobble in there. It just causes the product to feel cheap and poorly designed. This rake is, so close, to my approval and recommendation. I would that the handles get a bit of a screw on them. Keep the locking nub that it already has. But enough threads for a half a turn, maybe a whole one.

Nice rake, long handle
The rake has an extended handle, which really helps keep the heat off your hands. I've used this with my Weber grill and WSM smoker and it works great. So far, so good.

This coal rake rocks!
This fits in my egg perfectly, and is long enough to handle my xl egg size. I appreciate the metal, as it had held up to impressive storms without rusting.

It’s works. The riveted end is quite loose.
This charcoal rake does work. The angled and is quite loose on mine. Not sure if they are all like this or I just got a bad one. That being said it keeps my hands away from the heat and it was cheap. When it breaks I’ll probably fork out the extra money and get a Weber one.
