IK Multimedia iRig Keys 2 portable keyboard MIDI controller with 37 velocity-sensitive synth-action mini keys and headphone output, for iPhone, iPad, Mac, PC, Android

The last time I tried to learn piano, I bought the Akai Synthstation, which hooked up to the original iPhone connection. I recently decided I want to learn, and upon hooking the Akai to my phone, I’ve found, while it powers on, for some reason it no longer communicates through usb. I’ve had a full size digital piano for a while, and recently bought a 61 key piano to be a bit more mobile around the house, but was itching for a keyboard that travels well, and with my Akai recently deceased I was on the hunt for something bigger, but still “pocket sized”… This is it! (assuming you wear JNCO’s) I got this for a steal for Amazon day, and I couldn’t be happier! It comes with all the cables you might need, and when I plug it into my new iPhone 15 pro, it simply works. I load up garage band, and they mini keyboard preforms as expected. The velocity sensitive keys are sensitive enough for my liking, and it packs enough polyphony that I can’t even count how many it has. Most of the knobs, and buttons don’t do anything, but I think was looking for simple, so, thumbs up. Only the octave up and down buttons, and the volume knob seem work as intended. I also haven’t noticed any function from the pitch and modulation wheels. They may work with synth instruments in garage band, or probably other apps. For me, it’s perfect, because I just want a portable no frills grand piano in garage band, and piano tutor apps. In that regard it shines, as it works with all the piano teacher apps I’ve tried (simply piano, flowkey, and piano marvel), and I assume any app that allows midi controller connection. The keyboard also acts as an i/o device, so when you plug it in, all audio is routed through it’s headphone jack, and volume control is all through the knob on the keyboard. When looking for a case, I went with one marketed for the NI Komplete keyboard. It fits almost perfectly. A tiny bit too narrow, but it still zips comfortably, and holds all the cables, and a set of earbuds. No room for much else. I wanted a portable midi keyboard/io for my iPhone, and this works perfectly. My phone, the irig keys, the supplied usb mini-usb c, and some headphones, and I can practice wherever I am!

Excellent quality and action on this keyboard. I bought it for my Roland MC-707 and it works beautifully. I had been using my MicroKorg S as a controller for the MC-707, but the key action on that is not the greatest. This little keyboard is a complete joy to play and I'm VERY happy with the purchase. I feel the price is good as well. I often piddle around on my gadgets in bed after my wife falls asleep and this thing is so quiet! What I mean is, while I'm playing through my headphones, the tapping on the keys is so quiet I won't have to worry about keeping her awake while I'm doing my late-night composing. In that regard it is the quietest keyboard I own...and I own about 8. I don't think anyone will be disappointed with this item. I love mine.

This is my first MIDI keyboard controller, so I don't understand all the bells & whistles yet. I'll just talk about the physical keyboard. The tactile sense pretty good, weight like a melodion, and is perfect for traveling. The key response can be iffy. Sometimes, when you're pressing down for a quieter note, it doesn't register at all. (To be fair, there's dials and buttons that might adjust that...or even the software you work with, so it might not be a knock against the keyboard itself). Having a headphones jack is really nice. By using a 1/8-1/4" adapter, I can plug directly into an audio interface for online jam sessions. Powered from the USB is nice; no batteries to worry about (although you should watch your tablet/mobile device power). I have much to discover about it, but I'm not disappointed by my purchase. Until I can adjust the sensitivity and figure out what all the dials & buttons do (there's no documentation that came with it), I will leave it at a 4-star.

I would recommend not buying this item as there’s zero support. Not sure if it works because I can’t get volume to work, even though I go through all of the steps. They have zero customer service and I called and left a message on their sales line and asked them to call but no follow through I’m returning this and buying one from a company that’s in the US that has Customer Service and I would suggest you do the same

Purchased this for my Son. He really likes this. He is just starting to learn the piano and this comes in handy when using with SimplyPiano. It is worth the price.

Perfect for playing on the plane and in motel rooms on the road. The keys are velocity sensitive and feel very good.

It's much smaller than the photo makes it seem. For this price, save your money.

Bought as a added keyboard for baselines and articulation triggering, etc. Small size fits my layout perfectly, adds 4 control knobs (switchable A/B), volume, rotary encoder, pedal port for either sustain or expression, pitch & modulation wheels(my Roland A-49 has a joystick for pitch & mod which zeros as soon as released). Velocity on the 37 mini keys is very good, doesn't feel cramped. Price could be better, but I like it.

When I don't want to lug full size 88 key midi controller or piano this is perfect when I want 37 keys, to take nearly anywhere , weekends away, train, even for busking or small open mic so don't have to lug a keyboard stand around. the perfect midi keyboard never found one yet. Its the only midi keyboard of ''this size and weight '', I could find with audio out , midi in and out (mini size) awesome Has some pitfalls already covered in other feedback, like a way to power it from usb power pack would be good ( can get phone adaptor to accommodate extra input for charger), mini usb would have been better usbc ( although connection is firm) , 1/4 out would have been better, free software you had to buy only got a couple of instruments to tempt you, if you don't really need many instruments doesn't really matter as I use full computer when I need to do proper work

Wie lange? Das ist mir ein Rätsel, ist nirgends ersichtlich. Wenn Gerät am Laptop oder Computer angeschlossen ist, verstehe ich es, dass die Stromversorgung ausreichend ist. Man kann zwar ein Netzgerät (optional) anschließen, aber dann kann man das IPad nicht verbinden. Veraltete Anschlüsse vom Gerät zum Ipad. Man kann nur das ipad verwenden mit dem Lightning Stecker, nicht Ipad Pro mit USB C, da muss man einen Adapter Lightning auf USB C benützen bzw. kaufen. Bis 30.9.20 war eine Aktion auf der Homepage des Herstellers wo beim Erreichen einer bestimmter Verkaufsstückzahl je danach 1,2,3 4 Programme gratis erhältlich sein sollten. Beim letzten Check waren es 4 Programme. Ich wollte sicher gehen, da das am29.9. bestellte Gerät sicherlich nicht bis 30.9. eintreffen würde und fragte beim Hersteller nach. Der Kundendienst bestätigte, dass das ganze Bündel an Software bis zu 1 Monat danach noch verschickt (downloadbar) wäre. Beim Gerät war neben der Registrierung auch Download Apps (s.h. Ürün eski bir üretim olmasına rağmen kullanışlıdır. Ancak amazon firmasına hiç yakışmayan bir şekilde paketlenmeden ve kutunun üzerine etiketler yapıştırarak gönderilmiştir. Ürünü tavsiye ederim ama bu şekilde gönderilmesi hiç güzel değil.

3 octaves , le bon compromis entre taille et confort. Je l'utilise avec ma Galaxy tab s7+ . Soit avec un câble usb C vers usb C ou avec un petit adaptateur otg . Bonne qualité, léger et très compact par rapport à la version pro .

Mi è piaciuto tutto, dall'Ordine alla Ricezione e Messa in Funzione dell'Apparato. Nonostante le dimensioni contenute, ottima e' la risposta alla pressione dei tasti e la risposta dei comandi. Ottimo Prodotto da Consigliare Sicuramente.
