Hell.... have just bought this one.. and keep showing code e0 from the day 1.. and not getting rid of it.. any one have any solution..?

If it gives you the code e0 when you hit power its because you dont have a compatible cookware on it. It has to read the cookware for it to work. It will also give you the e0 code if you have the cookware on it and its NOT compatible with the cooktop.

The only one that I am aware of that is NOT MADE IN CHINA is CookTek.
It is designed AND made in the USA and is superior in all ways.
It'll cost ya' $900 though.
BTW...most if not all Proctor Silex products ARE made in China.

Will this work with 4-6 inch pots?

It only works well with 4-6” cookware. There are two rings indicated on the surface that suggest a 4.5” and 8” cooking area. This is misleading, as only the smaller cooking area activates. Larger cookware, skillets in particular, only focus heating in this central regional, which has caused warping in a few skillets and weird heating in other larger pots and saucepans, most noticeable when boiling water as you can see the heat points through the water.

I live this induction cooktop, great value, but I only use it for smaller area cookware and am currently looking for a larger 8-10” cooktop for my larger pots & pans.

What is the startup wattage for this? Normally, inductive stoves draw 3-7 times the rated power to start. How about this one?

200 watts at level 1 power setting, then it will increase 100 watts every .5 of temperature increase all way up to 10.
You will need a 15 amp breaker and depending on the temperature setting  it will draw between 200 to 1800 watts.
So if you start the unit at a temperature setting of 5 (half way, which is a good setting for simmering, boiling or even searing) it will draw 1000 watts
