15' version - JUST as advertised
Just received it a few days ago. It is exactly as large as we wanted/expected, is straightforward and easy to put up and take down with two people (I imagine it would be bukly and harder with just one). We set it up on a sunny 70+ degree day and it was sweltering inside. Definitely will benefit from sun shades (which we did purchase and set up as well and they clearly help) but we bought it predominantly for the fall, winter, and early spring. I think the "greenhouse effect" it clearly has will be exceedingly beneficial in keeping things warm inside even when far too cold for comfort outside. This looks like a winner! Hope to update this after several uses when the weather turns colder - and especially during/after a snowfall. Thank you! Updated December 31, 2020: After using it during the winter I can update my initial post. While I am not convinced that this would be ideal for deep cold weather (e.g., <20 degrees F), at this point I can say two things I was not able to say before: 1) With "reasonable" temperatures as noted above, this works exactly as advertised. In fall/autumn and spring, if there is sunshine take advantage of the greenhouse effect as well - it will stay comfortably warm inside even with cool temperatures and mild to moderate winds you will NOT feel the winds and you will be far warmer and more comfortable inside than outside; and 2) The customer service from this company is unparalleled. I had an issue that I needed to deal with and they took care of it immediately. If I could give this company 6 stars I would do so. Summary: I don't believe that this item is meant for the arctic - and I don't think that will be a big surprise for anyone. I also bet that with a heavy snowfall it could not tolerate that weight and would collapse. So I would not think that this should ideally be advertised as a winter gazebo, but rather a fall-summer-spring and maybe mild winter gazebo! But now that we got that out of the way, EVERYTHING else I could say about the product, and especially everything I could possibly say about the customer service and the company standing behind its product, I would now give five stars and six stars, respectively, if I could. And that is not all that common today, and is so very appreciated. Thank you, Alvantor - well done.

The best winter man cave!
I bought the 10’ x 10’ bubble tent in January 2025, used it last winter and this winter at my home in Michigan. I have 2 small electric heaters that blow the air to circulate it. I wrapped Christmas lights around the top of the inside, put a tarp underneath to prevent moisture from coming in, and put a 6’ x 8’ carpet down. It’s the best man cave for me and my dog. My wife sits inside the house watching the TV and me and the dog in the igloo. I’ve name it Fish Camp. Great in the snow, rain, wind, sun, any conditions. Even when it gets to 5-10 degrees outside, inside fish camp it’s 70 degrees with the heaters on. Definitely a must buy if you want to go “outside inside outside” as I call it. Fits 2 and a dog. Four people and a dog is good. 6 is a little crowded.

Makes my hot tub enjoyable in the winter!
Edit: I have now had this up since November over my hot tub. Overall it has been good, however, the quality is lacking. There is a large rip in the top- nothing sharp has touched it and we keep the snow cover on. I put flexseal on it to stop the spread and will see how that lasts. The same day I put the flexseal on I was opening the zipper (which I always do carefully) and the thread that connects the zipper to the tent broke. This shows a lack if quality. I did sew it back on as best I could, but I am waiting for the rest to unsew. I contacted alavantor and they have given me nothing but trouble. First they couldn't find my order even though I had contacted them previously and registered my warranty with them. Then they stated I needed to contact amazon. When you contact amazon it tells you to contact alavantor. I have replied to alavantor with this information and am waiting for a reply...which usually takes 4 or so days. For how much money this is I expect better quality and for zippers to not break. I get plastic can become brittle, but there is no excuse for the zipper. The set up was super easy and fairly quick-just be careful when opening it as it will get you in the shins! We got it to put over our hottub for the winter as we get a lot of wind. So far it has been great. The only issue we have had is with the zipper on the window not closing right (the teeth seperate a bit). It doesn't impact too much. They offered me $50 back to pay a local seamstress to fix it- I doubt I will find anyone to fix a zipper for that cheap. Since it is just a vent windowits not abig deal. Update: we got a lot of freezing rain and I found it collapsed. Once we cleared it off it popped right back into place. I could see why they sell an extendable pull for extra support in the center.

This bubble is awesome. Amazing support outweighs minor flaws
Been searching for over a year to find a gazebo-esque solution that would adequately block the powerful San Francisco wind so we can use our deck more often. This thing is perfect. We've had it out for 3 months now and it has withstood 40+mph winds- insane. There are some minor flaws. But I give this thing 5 stars because 1. there's literally nothing else on the market (not anywhere close to this price point at least) and 2. their support is gangbusters. The clear vinyl separated from the zipper, and within 24 hours of emailing their support, they were sending me a brand new bubble for free. And I got the 12 footer, so that's like $400+ without even having to send the original back. Truly great customer service. Other things to be aware of: this thing isn't 100% waterproof. In particular, the corners on the top where the panels come together will leak water during rainfall- not a ton but enough to get your bottom damp if you sit down on a chair under it. Considering the strong winds we see in SF, I also swapped out the guylines for 500+lb strength nylon rope to ensure they wouldn't rip (the ones they come with are kinda dinky). I've attached some photos of how we've set up our bubble. Even have an aerial pic I took w/ a drone. Very nice to bring the projector out into this thing for a movie night w/ a view- the built in hanger clips on the inside make it super easy to hang projector screens, tapestries, etc. I'm pretty sure this is my first amazon review I've ever done- wasn't paid to do this, etc. This bubble is just that dope. Highly recommend!

It's been a wild ride, but we're very happy with our purchase!
We purchased the 15x15 bubble tent for some Christmas photo sessions. The day before the sessions were to start, we received some unexpectedly high winds which knocked the tent down, sending poles through the sides and ripping the plastic in several areas. It was a disaster. We reached out to Alvantor for advice on how to repair it but we received no support. We fixed it as best we could, just in time for the sessions, and used props and angles to hide the damaged areas. Over the next few days, Alvantor and I communicated about what happened. They apologized, requested photos of the damage, and then, much to our surprise- they offered to send us a new one. (!!) We have the replacement tent now but we'll wait till the spring to set it up since we're in zone 6 (winter at the moment). Meanwhile, we have our damaged tent set up in our urban backyard. We've had temps in the single digits, a small amount of snow, many frosts, and some winds. The tent is holding up beautifully, in spite of these conditions (note- we're not recommending this for everyone... we're just taking our chances since it's already hobbling along and we have another). We've enjoyed many gatherings in it, in the last month or so as it's considerably warmer inside than out, especially when the sun is shining. We keep tables, chairs, blankets, and faux furs inside all of the time. We've used a tiny tabletop fire "pit" in it (also not recommended, but totally doable, imho), and we add a small space heater now and then when it's especially chilly. At the moment, we have a claw foot tub inside waiting for a winter-hot-tub experience or two. It's going to be epic. Three small things to note: 1) The toggle ties that hold the rolled doors up aren't quite long enough. We extended them with rubber bands and they're fine now. 2) The tent retains moisture a lot. While we don't have any active leaks that we know of, the condensation drips from the ceiling most of the time. It's not a big deal to us, but it's something to consider if you're planning to have food or water-sensitive items in the tent. Venting it and leaving the doors open helps with the condensation. 3) We recommend removing the top cover during strong winds. We think it made the situation worse, as the winds were picking it up and shaking the tent violently at times. To sum it up - we're so very happy with this tent and Alvantor. The size is perfect (we've had 8 in it comfortably), it's beautiful, it allows us to enjoy the "outdoors" a bit more, and it's a wow factor in the backyard. We highly recommend it!

This tent/bubble is amazing!!
Ok. So I love sitting out on my deck. All the time. Forever. What I do NOT love, is rain or snow or inclimate weather of any kind as I can then, not sit on my deck. I also hate bugs. All of them. That said, I was in the market for something I could sit in, on my deck, in bad weather or in the summer. I wanted walls. It needed to be less than 7x7. It had to be water proof and sturdy. Doesn't seem like a hard ask...it was. Tents aren't made to be like less than 8x8 mostly. And half of the smaller ones had three walls. Or two. Or one if it was on the jankier side. Then I found this. This marvel. It's clear so you can see through it. That's cool if you want to spy on your neighbors with some privacy for you in the form of detachable window screens. You can also see the stars. I like that a lot. It comes with a water proof tent helmet. Only issue I have is the water can weigh down the plastic so you have to punch the roof sometimes to make sure the water or snow is off. That's a minor concern. Best way to explain how good this is? That storm that happened today 1/9/24 that dumped rain on the east coast? Yeah. I'm sitting in that. Outside. In this bubble tent. This thing is a BEAST. It doesn't blow over. It doesn't leak. It doesn't collapse. I'm warm and dry. Something I would have never been without this bubble tent. I have yet to use it in the summer because I bought it into time for winter but I am sure it will be lovely. I highly recommend it. Especially if you like sitting outside on your deck.

Great idea! Good tent, terrible roof
I hate giving the product a bad review because I love this tent. It makes the winter better and the 12x12 tent really did well for about 3 years. However, the ceiling collapsed in the winter despite very little snow. I was disappointed but it went through a lot in 3 yrs. I decided to get the smaller tent since I was the primary user. This one was much more disappointing--the ceiling needed help from the beginning, and then shattered after about 1 and 1/2 years. Nothing caused the roof to shatter, it just cracked everywhere. Massive holes, and the plastic has discolored and looks terrible. Only the roof is a problem, but it makes it unusable.

We LOVE our bubble!
This bubble tent is the best thing ever! We are also the talk of the neighborhood when we set this up. First, the setup is a breeze. It is great that there are two zippered doors. We typically only use one but having the ability to use both is great. We have plenty of room to keep some of our outdoor deck furniture within the bubble throughout the winter. We setup an outdoor rug with four wicker spinning chairs, and ottoman that we place a wood board on top of to create a shelf to put a TV, one side table and an electric heater. The heater keeps the bubble warm throughout our NJ winter but without the heater it's quite comfortable. Having the bubble has extended our entertainment space when we host for the holidays. The bubble can withstand some snowfall but we are very diligent about cleaning it off regularly to ensure there isn't too much weight on it. We absolutely love our bubble and can't wait to set it up again and enjoy football Sundays while still enjoying the outdoors! One thing to note is continuous zipping/unzipping of the door(s) has pulled some of the stitching. We have hand stitched some to be sure that the tent doors remain intact 🤞🏻
