This works well!
This testing stone works as it should. I'm able to clearly see the material I'm testing (gold, silver, platinum, etc.) and my acid solutions clean right off with soap & water, leaving no residue. The price is affordable, so I'm pleased with this purchase!

Does exactly what it is suppose to do
Slab that is used to identify sterling silver. Works exactly like it is suppose to. And can identify sterling as opposed to other metals, by scratching your silver item on the slab and then using and acid to determine if sterling or less. However the best test is probably the metalizers.

Works great for testing a few peices at a time
I have been using this to test gold and silver, it works great for testing up to 5-6 peices at a time. Anything over that you will wish you had a bigger stone. The size is mentioned in the description, so I can't fault the seller for being true to their word. Be wary of fake stones that are actually glass, those are not as easy to use. This is an actual stone.

Who new stones could make you money!
These stones work very well on testing Precious Metals. It took me awhile to get the hang of reading the stone but it really works.

Make sure you have the right acid for testing your precious metals.
