I purchased this for my husband with severe digestive issues. He does not get nauseous with this pill like others he has tried.

Prescription iron pills bothered me but these have worked great. Was having severe sensitivity in my tongue and have had none with these. My doctor told me to try them as they’re more animal/plant based.

I bought this iron for the heme iron content, which makes it absorb better. My blood levels are improving. I’m still noticing an issue with constipation occasionally, even with a high fiber diet, but it is not as bad as it used to be with another brand. I have had no other side effects. Overall, I’m very pleased with this product.

This is an excellent iron supplement. This brand (which is derived from beef — not from elemental iron like most other iron supplements) — was ordered specifically by my oncologist when I had a low iron count. It is much easily and more fully absorbed. I take it after breakfast. It does not cause me any GI distress, but you should check with your doctor. The other elemental iron tabs will turn your BM’s a greenish color (sorry, I am a nurse and we do talk about these things.) The Bifera may make them a little darker brown.
