The sliding clamp is better than the original one that came with my Fitbit. The reason I needed a replacement band was that the sliding clasp holder that fits on one side of band broke, and thus the band would not stay closed without it. This sliding clasp holder has something that fits in the sizing holes of the band, so it doesn’t slide out and stays in place. Attaching the straps was not too difficult. I’m very pleased with this purchase! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great colors, great quality *by I***R on June 17, 2020* This is what you hope it will be - 10 quality bands in nice colors that let you easily customize your fitbit. I like that the little pins are built in - I have some other replacement bands where the pins come separately and you have to slide them in. That is very fiddly. These are easy to change. I find them more comfortable than the original band, which left a red mark at the end of the day. I have no irritation with these. They are very slightly stiffer than the original band but not in a problematic way.
