Refinish Restorer- 500ml

I purchased this product to restore the plastic on my Chevy Avalanche. Although the plastic was in excellent condition, it had faded due to years of car washes and sun exposure. I followed the instructions and used some Terry cloth sponges to apply the liquid. From the start, this proved to be the perfect solution to the problem. The product was thick but went on easily, and buffing it out with a fine cloth made the plastic look great. I managed to cover the entire truck with just half a can, leaving plenty for touch-ups. I highly recommend this product to anyone worried about streaks that other products can leave after washing. I washed the truck shortly after applying the product, and there was no streaking on the paint; it didn't come off. For the price, this product offers great value and is truly excellent.

This stuff works great. I've found that, in recent years, I prefer ceramic coatings for plastics which are flat surfaces or are otherwise easily accessible. However, where Carworx becomes my detailing secret weapon is on areas which are too cumbersome to treat with a cloth. Areas like plastic grilles, wiper cowls or plastic steps. In these cases, it's MUCH easier to use Carworks and a brush to apply protectant. Also, I've found that Carworx lasts about a long as a good ceramic. I purchased a container a few years ago and still have a little left. Really great value, considering it's performance. Highly recommended to anyone who takes pride in their vehicle. 👍🏻

I researched everything there is to fix the Avalanche cladding issue. From high dollar painting and coatings, to cheap remedies that are dangerous and very questionable long term, including heating the plastic with a blow torch. This is by far the cheapest, simplest, and easiest solution out there. While there is plenty of hard work in cleaning, prepping with alcohol wipe down, and application and wipe down, the results are phenomenal. First picture shows the first panel of the bed cover done compared to the forward two not done. The restoration makes all the cladding look brand new. I have done my whole truck now. I'ts been just over a month for the back truck bed covers, and they still look great. The next two pictures are before and have shots of the driver's side front door panel cladding. I bought a used replacement part (they are no longer made and the only one available new in the country was $350 w/o shipping from a Chevy dealer) on Ebay. You can see it was pretty rough but after about 3 coats of CarWorx, it looks amazing. I'm using a top coat of 303 UV Protectant spray as a final finish. The last picture shows the front bumper after treatment. PLUS a bonus of showing off my new US Flag vinyl wrap for the bowtie. Highly recommended. I will buy again if I need to. Still have half a container after doing the truck. Don't waste your time on other solutions, this is by far, hands down the best thing you can do for your cladding. - Carl Chapman

I’m not a big review writer but I have to write a review on this product. It is 100% legit. All the pictures that you see on the other reviews are true. I use this product on my 2002 avalanche after 21 years of owning it, and it baking in the sun, never garage Because it was too big and didn’t fit didn’t think it was gonna work but I took a shot at it and boy I don’t regret it goes on beautifully with a 3 inch cheap brush so when you’re done with the application you can throw it away goes on smoothly and penetrate deep into the plastic. My truck looks absolutely beautiful. I’ve gotten tons of compliments already, so if the plastic on your car is looking old and tired and the plastic is white. This will turn it gray just make sure you give it a good soapy wash down first and put on a mask because it does stink a tiny bit goes a long long way, I did my truck with one can and still have some left over amazing product buy it buy it buy !

Definitely the best product I have tried so far for the cladding on my Avalanche. Kind of higher gloss than original, but blacker than the other products I have used. Would be awesome if they came out with a low gloss version. I will update review after a couple of months in the southern Idaho sun.

Terrific product! If you need to restore any black plastic - like trim - this is the product. I have tried many, many products over the years, and was never really happy with any of them. Yeah, they work for some time and some looked better than others, but there was nothing I could find, that was "black enough", and "lasted" as long as I thought it should have. I had read about this product for some time, and I just thought "more noise about another similar product..." Boy, was I wrong. This really works. I did a quick test last year, even though the weather was getting cold, and it still looks much better than the vast majority of the other stuff - and this is after one long, nasty winter. Here is what you should try. First, get some of this product. You really will be happy about this. Second, do a good job on the application. I would first, clean well the pieces you want to refinish. Apply some 1 to 2 inch masking tape on all sides around the piece of plastic. You want to make sure that the product just goes on the plastic and not the surrounding sheet metal. It won't dissolve your paint job, but it will make it very greasy and it's hard to get it off. Don't ask how I know this. The bottom line - follow the instructions on the can, use some making tape to keep your application neat and be prepared to answer a lot of questions on how you make your plastic parts look like new. This stuff is now part of my "must have" car/truck products.

I looked for and tried a lot of different items that was put on YouTube and other information sites. None of which worked past the first washing or a week of sunshine until I found this product. Carworx Refinish was very easy to apply I was done with my car in no time at all as you see I have a 2002 avalanche it has a lot of clading all the bumpers all the sides halfway up the truck . I ended up using just a little more than half I was so pleased because this is the first product that actually brought my cladding back to New this is what my truck look like when I bought it, I've owned the truck from brand new 2002 and it never was parked in a garage under a tree for some years but the out in the sun the rest of the time I worked in it I have over 600,000 mi on this truck regional engine. I know it has nothing to do with the Carworx Refinish but I wanted you to see how much time is spent on the road in the sun . It's been a month now I've had two car washes it's rained I drive it every day for workand it still looks like the day I applied it I can tell this is going to last a long time just to make sure I had enough next time I did it I went ahead and ordered another can right away I've got that stored in my shed with the other one but every day I look and I'm seeing my car what it look like when I bought it I'm glad I never tried to paint it or do anything permanent that I've seen other people do cuz I hated their results period if this can be used on different plastics not just the clouding it's helped all the plastics around my mirrors everything I highly recommend this product to everyone. Don't hesitate if you have a car with cladding and you want to make it look like the day you bought it this is the product and it will last. I could not be happier with this purchase UPDATE IT'S BEEN 4 MONTHS NOW SENSE I USED THIS ON MY AVALANCHE. IT LOOKS LIKE NEW AND AS GOOD AS THE DAY I REAPPLIED CARWORX. I'm very happy

Body shop gave me a sample and I was pleased. Ordered on amazon and took a bit to get. vewry dissapointed the can came dented all around as if it had been kicked around. I thought about returning but not sure what and if i would get back. Product does look very nice after several coats. keep off surrounding paint and glass.

I called in a body shop to get the best product for my faded 2016 trims. They recommended this product which I bought on amazon. I used to use Back to black from Mothers, which works good but doesnt last long enough. The Carworx product is actually a thicker oil type fluid than expected. I was easy to apply. I will update in a couple weeks about this product holding up or not. So far very satisfied, my car looks new again!

Had a friend tell me about this product. He applied a small amount on my trucks tailgate protector. It went through multiple rain storms and car washes without losing it's shine. I purchased this product and cannot be happier with the results. Highly recommended.
