They fit my queen bed perfectly, not too big that they sag over the edge but not so small that I cannot tuck the sides into my bed frame. The colors you see in the images are true to form and I love that the comforter is reversible. Both sides are a shade of gray, but it is nice being able to change it from a dark to a light gray whenever you want. The sheet is plush and warm but not very heavy which I like. It does hold heat in incredibly well and all I use is this comforter and a thin top sheet in the middle of winter and it is plenty warm. Sometimes I lay on top of the comforter because it is so soft but can still keep me warm. The only caveat to my love of this item is that it does seem to wrinkle easily. This is not a big deal but it is not as "wrinkle-free" as they would like you to believe. After I make my bed I spray a little 50/50 mix of Febreze and water and pull it tight and it does take out some of the wrinkles, but again, not a big deal at all. Overall, this item is amazing and because the price is so low I am giving it 5 stars. I would expect an item like this to cost upwards of $100. The pros: Soft, warm, reversible, nice pattern. How does one attach corner tabs to cover's corners?** A: I don't know how these work w/o sewing fabric ties on both comforter and duvet. I found the perfect answer for any duvet and it holds comforter in place w/o slipping, tearing, shifting or sewing! I found these clear hard plastic circles (doubles-one snaps inside the other ) to hold corners in place w/o any problems. I first used them 4 a med. weight comforter (not this one) and an antique lace duvet. Held beautifully and invisibly w/no damages. With the corner tabs, you just put the larger circle on the top of tab and the smaller circle on the outside bottom of the duvet cover and snap together.Voila! I can't recall the name but Bed,Bath & Beyond has a four-pack for about $10-$12.Just tell them what you are looking for and that you need clear plastic comforter/duvet cover corner holders. They also last forever and are easy to remove for cleaning or changing styles. **Q: Should this be washed befoure using it?** A: Yes! Always wash your bedding before use. Your comforter could have been sitting in a warehouse for a year before it gets to you. Or it could be coming from overseas on a ship. There might be bedbugs, mites, dust & dirt on the bedding. So it's always best to wash your bedding before you place it on your bed. Read the tag for care instructions. In my experience comforters hold up best when washed in cold water. On the Delicate cycle or Bedding cycle with light detergent. Fabric Softener is okay to use on certain fabrics. If you do decide to use Fabric Softener, use a little bit. Too much Softener can stain your comforter & ruin the fabric. I always fold up the comforter before I place it in the dryer. That way the comforter doesn't snag on anything & stretch or rip. Dry it on the low heat setting. It might take longer to dry. But too high of heat and your comforter might melt, depending on the fabric. **Q: Does this sleep hot ?? Is it heavy ??** A: It is October in Maryland - 62 degrees in the bedroom. My husband and I are small, so size has nothing to do with it. This blanket sleeps hot, period. I had to throw it off multiple times, freeze, put it back on and throw it back off - all night. Originally, I was sleeping very comfortably with just this comforter to cover me, and although the nights were warm, my body did not overheat. However, since the weather turned colder, and I like to sleep with the bedroom windows open, I am currently using this as a comforter as a second layer over my duvet. As a reference, when I sleep, my body generates a lot of heat, and although I do not have any ‘night sweating’, according to my husband I’m a hot, heat-producing furnace. Therefore, I require only lightweight covers which allows my body heat to disperse. This plushy comforter helps my body to regulate my own natural body temperature. I am unable to sleep with even a light, as blankets retain my body heat. Therefore, when I had a blanket, I would toss and turn and kick the blanket off the bed, and then retrieve it a few minutes later. Even though I like to sleep in a cold room with the windows open during the fall, winter and spring, my body still retains and emits an extraordinary amount of warmth. However, aside from the cozy warmth (without my body overheating), this is a quality comforter. The construction and design, along with extra detail features makes this comforter superior to all the others that we own. I love the reversible feature for the two different colors which offers a decorative change. Therefore it’s like getting two different color comforters for the price of only one. All the square panels of microfiber fill stitched between the two sections of this comforter are soft, and equally plushy on both sides. This secures the filling, which keeps it evenly distributed, and furthermore, prevents the microfiber from bunching up or falling to the lower or the outer areas. There is a nice, thick and continuous hem that finishes the four sides of the comforter and along this bottom hem are a total of EIGHT loops for tying within a cover. Although the usual amount of loops is four, one on each corner, however the comforter has an extra loop in the middle on all four sides. This offers the option to add more ties within a cover which as an insert will allow the comforter to remain securely attached and straight, both lengthwise and from side to side.
