Incredibly useful for getting power and data between devices if you don’t have the right cable. Only downside is it doesn’t support USB 3 speeds so can be slow with file transfers or large data. Looks nice and good build quality. Nice and small.

With so many new phones and gadgets now switching over to USB-C, I quickly realised my old USB car charger and plugs weren’t much use anymore. Rather than replacing them all, I decided to try this 3 pack of BASESAILOR adapters, and I’m really pleased I did. They’re very straightforward to use, just plug one into a standard USB port and it instantly converts it to USB-C. I keep one permanently in my car for charging my phone, one in the house for my AirPods, and the spare stays in my bag. They’ve worked perfectly every time with my iPhone and other devices, and it’s so much easier than carrying separate cables. The build quality feels strong and durable, with a nice compact design that doesn’t stick out awkwardly or get in the way. I also like the finish, they look sleek and don’t feel flimsy like some cheap adapters I’ve tried before. For a pack of three, they’re excellent value for money, and the fact that I managed to get them at the sale price made them even better. It’s a simple, affordable way to keep using existing chargers without having to buy completely new ones. I needed this to convert a double-ended USB-C lead to one with a normal UBS on the other end. It's solid enough to do the job I wanted. It was easy to use, and once in place, it functioned properly, was stable and everything worked as it should, with no loss of speed. Everything stayed stable and I'm more than happy with it.

I got a new phone last year that switched to USB-C and suddenly like half my cables and chargers were useless. I've got old USB-A cables everywhere - in my car, at my desk, next to my bed, in my travel bag. I started looking at buying all new USB-C cables to replace them and realized I'd be spending like $100+ to replace everything. Then I found these little adapters and honestly they're genius. The pack comes with 2 adapters which seemed perfect - I could put them in different places and not have to move them around constantly. They're super small, like maybe an inch long, so they're not bulky or awkward. Just plug them into the end of your regular USB-A cable and boom, now it works with USB-C devices. I keep one adapter permanently attached to the charging cable in my car. My car only has a regular USB-A port and I was using one of those old cables that wouldn't charge my new phone. Popped this adapter on the end and now it works perfectly. Charges my phone just as fast as a regular USB-C cable would. I leave it in there all the time and it's been super reliable. The second adapter I keep in my work bag along with my laptop charger and a couple other cables. It's great because when I'm traveling or at a coffee shop, I can use whatever cable I have available. Found a random USB-A cable at a hotel once and just used my adapter to charge my phone. Super convenient. The build quality on these is actually really solid. They're made of aluminum which feels premium and durable. I was worried they'd be flimsy plastic that would break after a week, but these feel like they'll last forever. The connection is snug - when you plug it into a cable it stays on tight, no wobbling or loose connections. They work for both charging and data transfer which is nice. I use one to connect my phone to my laptop sometimes to transfer photos and it works just as well as a regular USB-C cable. The transfer speeds seem totally normal, no issues there at all. One of the best things about these is that they're so small you can just leave them attached to your cables permanently. I basically converted my old USB-A cables into USB-C cables for like $10 instead of buying all new cables. Way more economical and I didn't have to throw away perfectly good cables. I've also used them with my power banks. I've got a couple older power banks that only have USB-A ports and these adapters let me charge my USB-C phone from them no problem. Didn't have to upgrade my power banks which would've been expensive. The only thing to be aware of is that these are female USB-C to male USB-A. That means you plug them INTO your existing USB-A cable to make it work with USB-C devices. I initially thought they worked the other way around so make sure you're getting the right type for what you need. But for converting old cables to work with new phones, these are perfect. They're also great as spares. I actually ended up buying a second pack because they're so useful. Now I have them in my car, my work bag, one attached to the cable next to my bed, and a couple extras floating around. At this price it's totally worth having backups. My girlfriend saw me using these and got her own set. She had the same problem with all her old cables becoming useless when she upgraded her phone. Now she keeps one in her purse and one at her desk at work. Saved her a bunch of money on new cables too. The adapters are also slim enough that they work with phone cases. Some bulky adapters won't fit if you have a thick case on your phone, but these are narrow enough that I've never had an issue. I've got a pretty heavy-duty case on my phone and it plugs in fine. Color-wise they come in space gray which matches most cables and devices pretty well. They don't look cheap or out of place. They actually blend in really nicely and after a while you forget they're even there. If you've recently switched to a USB-C device and have a bunch of old USB-A cables lying around, these adapters are a total no-brainer. Don't waste money buying all new cables when you can just convert what you already have for a fraction of the price. They work great, they're durable, and they're small enough to keep everywhere without being in the way. I've been using mine for like 8 months now and haven't had a single issue. Still charging perfectly, no wear or tear on the connectors, and they haven't come loose from the cables I have them attached to. Definitely recommend grabbing a pack or two.
