Will it fit a patron bottle ?

No it didn't, I had bought them for a patron bottle also. But did not fit, I tried double caulking it did not look nice

The reviews for the black dispenser are poor. Isn't this manufactured by same company?

I think so. The corks are kind of large by the way... I had to shave them down to get the to fit into Pateon tequila bottles.

What is the length of the tube (from the base of the cork to the top)?

The cock is 1 1/4” long, tube below cork is 5 1/4” long. Easily cut to length you need. I am very happy with them

The openings on my pottery soap dispensers are only 5/8". Do you think I can shave off enough of the corks for them to fit?

I measured the opening on the small end of the cork and that is 1/2 inch in diameter. So you would only have a 1/8 inch left after shaving it off. I don't think that would work.
