Great product
Arrived today, states it wouldn’t arrive till tomorrow which was a let down as we go camping tomorrow but it did come today. Woohoo! Done a trial boiling camping kettle and it was boiling within a few minutes. Very fast at heating and fits regular sized pots. Easy to wipe. A little heavy but easy potable for the use I need it for.

Useful little hob
I bought this back in January when the internal gas supply to my home was cut off following a boiler upgrade - thought it would tide us over until we replaced our gas hob cooker with an all-electric version. It worked so well that 7 months later we still haven’t bought the new cooker 🤣. It’s a bit slow to heat up if you are accustomed to gas, but has given excellent daily service - ample for a two person household. However the bigger hotplate has just blown so it’s about to be on its way into the recycling centre. Great value for around £35 though and if you were only using it occasionally, for camping say, it should last years.

Do not buy this product
Do not waste your money I bought one of these and it became defective within a few months so they sent me a new one and within a few months one of the rings stopped working. Shockingly they refused to replace the second one but actually I’m quite pleased because I don’t really want another one of their pieces of junk in my home. Do not be tempted to purchase this product!

Portable, easy to use.
Perfect short term replacement for the broken built in hob until it gets replaced / repaired. Very pleased with it, it definitely does the job! Delivered quickly. No issues.

I thought the VonShef Electric Hob was very good value for money and I found it was excellent to use while I was without the use of a cooker

Caution needed
It is pretty basic, but it does what it is designed to do which is heating up pans placed on the rings. if you are used to using an induction hub, then you have to remember that these rings get very hot and remain very hot and are therefore a considerable burn risk.
